hi dear hivers! Today it was a very hot day here in Buenos Aires (more than 42ªC temperature day), so I took inspiration from that to create a new piece.
I was looking how to imitate that heat cameras, so first I will be drawing a face, I'm on Adobe Illustrator drawing with the mouse.
hola queridos hivers! Hoy fue un día muy caluroso aquí en Buenos Aires (más de 42ªC de temperatura en el día), así que me inspiré en eso para crear una nueva pieza.
Estaba buscando cómo imitar las cámaras de calor, así que primero dibujaré una cara, estoy en Adobe Illustrator dibujando con el mouse.
I want to add a supernatural feeling to the illustration, so I will be adding a third eyes and the angelic crown, like if it was a picture of an aura.
I'm using the purple tones for brilliant spots, and the yellow for the dark, this is contraintuitive because I tend to use darker colors for shadows, but I want this heat camera effect. The green area in the eyes will be used for animating them.
Quiero agregar un sentimiento sobrenatural a la ilustración, así que agregaré un tercer ojo y la corona angelical, como si fuera la imagen de un aura.
Estoy usando los tonos morados para los puntos brillantes y el amarillo para los oscuros, esto es contradictorio porque tiendo a usar colores más oscuros para las sombras, pero quiero este efecto de cámara de calor. El área verde de los ojos se utilizará para animarlos.
ok! we are now into Photoshop! I'm playing with paint brushes to diffuse the vector edges. The black mask will be used for adding motion there later.

And since this piece was thought as an animated piece, this is the funnier part! I'm into After Effects playing with filters.
