How many ways can one manipulate an image? I love making paintings and music, but photography and digital art are my most indulged mediums. With such a busy life, it's almost impossible to find time to create, but digital art allows for quick creativity.

You might think it's cheating. Some people are obsessed with process, and if the process isn't some ridiculous, tedious, time consuming operation they don't consider it "art". To me, process is less important than the final result.
To me, in order to be "art" it simply must convey the good, the true or the beautiful. I've definitely made works which displayed none of those, but that was just sloppiness. Art can be messy, and even ugly at times, but it should IMHO communicate something. It should stir some sort of emotion in the viewer (listener, watcher, whatever).
By far my favorite app to play with photos is PicsArt, though there are many on the market. I've been using PicsArt for years and even though they keep adjusting it and making certain features premium I have still managed to keep creating cool stuff with the free version. And no, it's not just filters and single step changes, there is a process to making what I make. It may be few steps or many steps, but each work is crafted with loving care.
What say you, consumers of my talents? What is art? Is it a long drawn out process, or the ability to create beauty or communicate truth or goodness? Maybe a bit of everything?
