The Room, Acrylic on Paper, 2017
A rare still life. I don’t even remember the photo that inspired this. I think it might have been something I saw on Pinterest. I hate Pinterest. But I do like this painting. The colors are relaxing and it looks like a very calming room.
The perspective is a bit off. The table is huge compared to that chair. I'm not sure how one could comfortably use the table with that blue chair. Maybe it's a kid's chair and they just brought it there as a joke? Even my own paintings can tell me stories.
