Buenos días, tardes o noches, bienvenidos a mi post. El día de hoy para mi es especial, porque celebro mi cumpleaños. Quise traerles esta ilustración y los procesos más relevantes en el proceso de dibujo desde el bosquejo a llegar al final, por supuesto que al final un gif que se ve hermoso. Disfruten de este dibujo tanto como lo disfruté yo haciéndolo.
Good morning, afternoon or evening, welcome to my post. Today for me is special, because I celebrate my birthday. I wanted to bring you this illustration and the most relevant processes in the drawing process from the sketch to the end, of course at the end a gif that looks beautiful. Enjoy this drawing as much as I enjoy making it.
Mientras visualizaba una postura de contorción, en mi mente le di la vuelta y traté de imaginar los pies de una chica que con años de práctica y dedicación logra colocar su cuerpo en esas posiciones y adquirir la elasticidad necesaria. Ya había escogido el color de fondo, para que simulara una cartulina de alto gramaje. Y me dediqué a trazar mis líneas de referencia.
While visualizing a contortion posture, in my mind I turned it around and tried to imagine the feet of a girl who, with years of practice and dedication, manages to place her body in those positions and acquire the necessary elasticity. I had already chosen the background color, to simulate a heavy cardboard. And I dedicated to draw my reference lines.
Tracé las líneas de contorno con la herramienta lápiz y utilizando un gris oscuro. Y de relleno un gris pálido para rellenar la figura, quería trabajar con líneas toda la figura y esta vez no incluir el cabello rojo de la chica “sí, ella es pelirroja”. Tracé las líneas de las sombras del cuerpo no por iluminación sino para darle volumen y profundidad a la figura.
I traced the contour lines with the pencil tool and using a dark gray, and a pale gray fill to fill the figure. I wanted to work with lines throughout the figure and this time I did not include the red hair of the girl "yes, she is redheaded". I draw the shadow lines of the body not for lighting but to give volume and depth to the figure.
Dediqué un buen rato a limpiarla con el borrador. Luego coloqué tramados de líneas blancas para crear la iluminación dejándola en caída libre, al no colocar una sombra referencial reflejada en ninguna parte del área de trabajo.
I spent a long time cleaning it with the eraser. Then I placed white line hatches on it to create the lighting, leaving it in free fall by not placing a reference shadow reflected anywhere in the work area.
Así ella en mi mente caía mientras lucia lo mejor de su elasticidad. Yo la admiré en el espacio libre de tiempo, viendo el trabajo que por años se refleja en sus pies.
So she in my mind fell down while she showed off the best of her elasticity. I admired her in the free space of time, seeing the work that for years is reflected in her feet.
Ver como aparecen las etapas desde el bosquejo al resultado final me suele dejar encantado como una y otra vez ella es dibujada y desdibujada una y otra vez.
Watching how the stages appear from the sketch to the final result usually leaves me enchanted as again and again she is drawn and blurred again and again.
