¡Hola mis amados! Por aquí estoy practicando algo nuevo.

En mi publicación anterior os conté que conocí a Chaoko, una cosplayer muy talentosa que de vez en cuando hace tutoriales sobre arte tradicional. Si bien son tutos para ese tipo de arte, los he podido adaptar al arte digital, recién vi su tutorial sobre manos y quise practicar, las manos no se me van muy bien, casi siempre se desproporcionan o si las hago bien, en el sombreado me quedan mal. Sin embargo hoy aproveché la ocasión de practicar unas muy sencillas, en posición de oración (quiero que me salgan bien).

Quería un dibujo dulce, colores suaves. La inspiración vino a mí pensando en mi actual proceso de cambios, cambios a nivel personal y mi vida está por dar otro giro muy pronto, entonces salgo de mi total zona de confort.

Si bien sigo con el virus terrible, estoy ansiosa por regresar a mis manualidades. Confieso que lo de ayer aprendido en el cabello me costó mucho repetirlo hoy, de allí es que siempre digo, hay diseños que parecieran tener personalidad propia, hay estilos que no son compatibles entre unos y otros, sin embargo se busca la forma que funcione.

Durante el proceso estaré contando cómo logré muchas cosas. Espero les guste.

Hello my beloved ones! Here I am practicing something new.

In my previous post I told you that I met Chaoko, a very talented cosplayer who from time to time makes tutorials on traditional art. Although they are tutorials for that kind of art, I've been able to adapt them to digital art, I just saw her tutorial about hands and I wanted to practice, the hands don't look very good to me, they are almost always disproportionate or if I do them well, in the shading they look bad. However today I took the opportunity to practice some very simple ones, in prayer position (I want to get them right).

I wanted a sweet drawing, soft colors. The inspiration came to me thinking about my current process of changes, changes on a personal level and my life is about to take another turn very soon, so I get out of my comfort zone.

While I still have the terrible virus, I am anxious to get back to my crafts. I confess that what I learned yesterday with my hair was very hard to repeat today, that's why I always say, there are designs that seem to have their own personality, there are styles that are not compatible with each other, however we look for the way that works.

During the process I will be telling you how I achieved many things. I hope you like it.

Paso a paso / Step by Step

Step 1️⃣/ Paso 1️⃣

Durante el proceso del boceto normalmente al presentarlo elimino capas y líneas que no se entienden para poder seguir mejor el relleno de color, pero, quería que vieran algunas de ellas, al menos las más importantes, apliqué la técnica del tutorial de Chaoko en lo que respecta a la mano, esto me fascinó.

Luego pasé a aplicar el color base y el degradado del fondo. Probé varios colores hasta encontrar uno que fuera agradable para mi vista.

Hice un cuernito de la mariposa y luego lo repetí del otro lado. Lo mismo hice con el cabello y un ala de mariposa. Por se esta la más apremiante para mí la realicé.

Esos efectos maravillosos en las alas solo pude lograrlo con el pincel aerógrafo fuerte y el pincel aerógrafo normal, me encantó jugar con las luces y sombras.

During the sketch process I usually remove layers and lines that are not understood in order to better follow the color fill, but, I wanted you to see some of them, at least the most important ones, I applied the technique of Chaoko's tutorial regarding the hand, this fascinated me.

Then I went on to apply the base color and the background gradient. I tried several colors until I found one that was pleasing to my eye.

I made a little horn of the butterfly and then repeated it on the other side. I did the same with the hair and a butterfly wing. Because this one was the most compelling for me I did it.

Those wonderful effects on the wings I could only achieve with the strong airbrush and the normal airbrush, I loved playing with the lights and shadows.

Al terminar un ala, solo queda copiarla y voltearla para colocarla del otro lado.

Realizo los detalles del cabello, que como mencioné quise aplicar la técnica aprendida de Chaoko en cuanto a cabello, acabo de darme cuenta que sigue existiendo el problema que cada diseño tiene su propia personalidad.

En el siguiente paso apliqué sombreado y luz en la ropa, quería que luciera desgastada, vieja. Aplique aerografía.

Esta vez trabajé con dos capas de piel diferentes, pues sabía que si trabajaba el diseño plano, todo el color de piel junta, no iba a poder lograr el efecto 2D deseado.Esto me permitió enfocarme solo en las manos y no distraerme con el resto del cuerpo, todo fue trabajado en una sola vez y en aerografía, ya que antes como ustedes sabían aplicaba un color fuerte y luego difuminaba, era demasiado trabajo.

When a wing is finished, it only remains to copy it and turn it over to place it on the other side.

I made the details of the hair, as I mentioned I wanted to apply the technique learned from Chaoko in terms of hair, I just realized that there is still the problem that each design has its own personality.

In the next step I applied shading and light on the clothes, I wanted them to look worn, old. I applied airbrushing.

This time I worked with two different layers of skin, because I knew that if I worked the flat design, all the skin color together, I would not be able to achieve the desired 2D effect, this allowed me to focus only on the hands and not get distracted with the rest of the body, everything was worked in one time and airbrushed, because before as you know I applied a strong color and then blurred, it was too much work.

Para poder sombrear la cara es necesario realizar los labios, cejas, ojos, si el personaje mira de frente, solo hago un solo lado, luego lo reproduzco.

Para los que se preguntan por las diferencias de todo de piel, soy daltónica (por si no lo saben) trabajo con una paleta personalizada que mi hizo me hizo hace años y memoricé los colores, siempre ha sido la misma paleta, a excepción cuando hago personajes inspirados que tomo muestras de color, sino soy un desastre.

Mis tonos de piel son estos:

Es la sección para piel, a veces tan solo mueve un poco la paleta, arriba o abajo, si estoy difuminando y pues, hay variación de color lógicamente.

La piel fue realizada en un solo paso en aerografía. Luego terminé de darle el sombreado a los ojos antes que se me olvide y luego los labios.

In order to shade the face it is necessary to do the lips, eyebrows, eyes, if the character is looking from the front, I only do one side, then I reproduce it.

For those who wonder about the differences of all skin tones, I am color blind (in case you don't know) I work with a custom palette that my teacher made me years ago and I memorized the colors, it has always been the same palette, except when I make inspired characters that I take color samples, otherwise I'm a disaster.

This is the skin section, sometimes I just move the palette up or down a bit if I'm blurring and then there is color variation logically.

The skin was done in one step in airbrush. Then I finished shading the eyes before I forget and then the lips.
