I'm switching from digital art to this, which gives me a super real feeling.
Graffiti.
Welcome to this edition of art, which should be more focused on street art and its main community, but I'm posting this in this community for two reasons.
- The main reason is that I have already posted twice in a row in that community.
- And the secondary reason is that at the end of this post, I will invite you to participate in a street art contest.
To begin with, I want to share photographs of the latest graphic I created, or rather, the first graffiti I created in 2026.
I enjoy and take pleasure in doing this type of writing. I know that art should not be explained and how contradictory it can be to call it street art, knowing the different free forms that currently exist and the level of muralism and urban art that exists around the world.
However, it should be noted that in this part of Venezuela, a small isolated town, art has never been one of its priorities, but for me, living here is one of the main reasons for living.
Graffiti at night can be interpreted in a thousand ways. For me personally, it is a form of liberation and a way of feeling that I am still alive while I add a little color to these gray streets.
Secondly, I want to share this photograph.
I was going to enter it in the contest being held by the street art community, which is requesting the creation of a banner for the aforementioned community, and what better way to invite other artists than on AlienArtHive.
You have already seen the step-by-step process of what I thought would be my entry for this contest, but due to technical difficulties with my cell phone and the frustration caused, I was unable to continue with the design. However, I am sure that you will be able to participate.
I invite you to be part of this great contest. If you visit the links, you will be able to see the community directly and also see my entry for it, which was a little different from what was shown before.
