Espero se encuentren muy bien el día de hoy y feliz domingo, hoy les comparto el proceso de este dibujo el cual es un retrato del personaje de la serie y de los cómics The Sandman, El Corintio, un personaje que me encantó desde que lo ví por su característica singular de tener bocas en vez de ojos y su forma de "ver" el mundo, así que sin más que decir, espero les guste y los invito a leerme! ❤️✨

I hope you are very well today and happy Sunday, today I share with you the process of this drawing which is a portrait of the character of the series and comics The Sandman, The Corinthian, a character that I loved since I saw him for his unique feature of having mouths instead of eyes and his way of "seeing" the world, so without more to say, I hope you like it and I invite you to read me! ❤️✨

Materiales/Materials

Lo que utilice para realizar el dibujo en tradicional en una hoja tipo cartulina tamaño 35 x 28 cm, un lápiz de grafito 2 HB y un borrador (corté mi borrador haciendo que las esquinas quedarán en punta así será más fácil borrar espacios pequeños), mis colores, mis pinturas y un corrector líquido blanco.

What I used to make the drawing in traditional on a cardboard type sheet size 35 x 28 cm, a graphite pencil 2 HB and an eraser (I cut my eraser making the corners to be pointed so it will be easier to erase small spaces), my colors, my paintings and a liquid paper (correction pen).

✨Paso a paso/ Step by Step✨

Mi idea para este dibujo fue el hacer que se vieran sus "ojos" ya que fue lo primero que me llamó la atención de el en la serie de Netflix y no solo eso sino su forma de ser, el como es una pesadilla rondando por el mundo plantando ideas a las personas, busque una referencia para poder ver todos los elementos que haría para hacerlo parecido. Hice el boceto a lapiz y al tenerlo listo borre ligeramente las líneas para poder ver partes del dibujo y así no manchar los colores con el color del lápiz, comencé haciendo sombras en su piel mezclado color lila y azul, luego use un naranja pastel para unir los colores y ya con un color durazno fui difuminando los tonos hasta hacerlos un poco más suaves. Usando un marcador negro pinte el cristal de sus lentes y luego pinte el interior de sus bocas, continúe pintando sus labios y para ellos use una mezcla de color rojo y color durazno y un poco de color rosado pálido para unir todo, para sus dientes use gris y un poco de amarillo pálido para que se vieran un poco más realistas.

My idea for this drawing was to make his "eyes" be seen since it was the first thing that caught my attention of him in the Netflix series and not only that but his way of being, how he is a nightmare roaming the world planting ideas to people, I looked for a reference to see all the elements that I would do to make it similar. I made a pencil sketch and when I had it ready I erased slightly the lines to be able to see parts of the drawing and thus not to stain the colors with the color of the pencil, I began making shades in his skin mixed lilac and blue color, then I used a pastel orange to unite the colors and already with a peach color I was blurring the tones until making them a little softer. Using a black marker I painted the glass of his glasses and then painted the inside of his mouth, I continued painting his lips and for them I used a mixture of red and peach and a little pale pink to unite everything, for his teeth I used gray and a little pale yellow to make them look a little more realistic.

Continúe pintando ahora todo el resto de su piel usando una tiza color naranja y difuminandola con el dedo, con amarillo mostaza y marrón fui pintando el marco de sus lentes y con estos mismos colores pinte el cuello de su camisa, agregando marrón oscuro para hacer las sombras en el. Use marrón claro para pintar el tono base de sus cejas y con marrón oscuro hice los detalles en ellas. Continúe pintando su cabello, primero usando un color marrón oscuro para las raíces y luego el marrón claro para ir aclarando el tono luego con el color amarillo mostaza fui creando los tonos más brillantes de su cabello y para hacer el tono mas claro de su cabello use un amarillo pálido. Mezclando pintura amarilla con rojo y blanco cree el tono de su camisa y usando un poco de ese tono crema y más pintura blanca fui haciendo las esferas de los ojos que van en el fondo, agregando un poco de azul y rojo les di un tono mas oscuro, algunas de sus irises las pinte con pintura marrón y otros de azul claro, por último agregué unas venas en ellos con pintura roja.

I continued painting now all the rest of his skin using orange chalk and blending it with my finger, with mustard yellow and brown I painted the frame of his glasses and with these same colors I painted the collar of his shirt, adding dark brown to make the shadows on it. I used light brown to paint the base tone of his eyebrows and with dark brown I did the details on them. I continued painting his hair, first using a dark brown color for the roots and then the light brown to make the tone lighter and then with the mustard yellow color I created the brighter tones of her hair and to make the lighter tone of her hair I used a pale yellow. Mixing yellow paint with red and white I created the tone of his shirt and using a little of that cream tone and more white paint I made the spheres of the eyes that go in the background, adding a little blue and red I gave them a darker tone, some of his irises I painted with brown paint and others with light blue, finally I added some veins in them with red paint.

Éste es el resultado del dibujo, terminé de pintar el interior de su camisa con amarillo mostaza, marrón oscuro y marrón claro y al tenerlo listo use el corrector líquido blanco para hacer los brillos en sus dientes, en sus cristales y en la montura de los lentes y en los ojos del fondo, agregué más color rojo para hacer un rubor y por último firme el dibujo. Me gustó mucho el proceso de este dibujo, además de que pude unir dos cosas que me gustan mucho, los colores y las pinturas y salió bien. Me gustó mucho este personaje y me gustó la forma en la que lo colocaron en la serie, me gustó su actitud llena de ambición y de superioridad, el trabajo que hicieron con el actor para poder hacer las bocas en sus ojos quedo increíble y hace que no puedas dejar de mirarlo, un pequeño dibujo que hice en su homenaje a este personaje tan peculiar. Añadiendo eso, la serie fue increíble. ❤️✨

This is the result of the drawing, I finished painting the inside of his shirt with mustard yellow, dark brown and light brown and when I had it ready I used the liquid paper to make the sparkles in his teeth, in his glasses and in the frame of the glasses and in the eyes in the background, I added more red color to make a blush and finally I signed the drawing. I really liked the process of this drawing, plus I was able to put together two things that I really like, colors and paints and it came out well. I really liked this character and I liked the way they placed him in the series, I liked his attitude full of ambition and superiority, the work they did with the actor to be able to make the mouths in his eyes was amazing and makes you can't stop looking at him, a little drawing I did in his tribute to this peculiar character. Adding that, the series was amazing. ❤️✨
