Hello hivers! Today I bring you a new, colorful inspiration. This time, I chose cold tones to be the protagonists of this drawing, so green and blue will be the colors that bring this female portrait to life. Without further ado, let's begin.

Este retrato lo hice sobre cartulina de construcción de color fucsia, y para ello usé lápiz, borrador, marcador negro, creyones óleo pastel y lápices de colores. Hice el boceto a lápiz.
I drew this portrait on fuchsia construction paper, using pencil, eraser, black marker, oil pastel crayons, and colored pencils. I made the sketch with a pencil.
La técnica de este estilo es utilizar colores alternativos para marcar las sombras y luces del rostro así que en vez de las tonalidades normales de la piel yo usé verde claro y oscuro, azul celeste y azul rey. Empecé por las partes más iluminadas y lo hice con el azul celeste y el verde claro.
The technique for this style is to use alternative colors to define the shadows and highlights of the face, so instead of normal skin tones, I used light and dark green, sky blue, and royal blue. I started with the most illuminated areas and I did it with sky blue and light green.
A continuación empecé a definir las líneas usando verde oscuro, para la sombra más oscura que está en el cuello, usé azul oscuro.
Next, I started defining the lines using dark green, and for the darkest shadow on the neck, I used dark blue.
La sombra que se refleja sobre el rostro de la modelo es producida por el sombrero, lo coloreé de negro porque le da un toque chic y elegante al retrato 👌🏻. Después le tocó el turno al ojo y a la boca, y también agregué unas sombras más al cuello con azul oscuro y un poquito de negro.
The shadow that is reflected on the model's face is created by the hat, I colored it black because it gives a chic and elegant touch to the portrait 👌🏻. Next came the eye and mouth, and I also added some more shadows to the neck with dark blue and a little bit of black.
Había algo en la boca que no me gustaba así que corregí ese detalle para que estuviese más cerrada, y efectivamente me gustó más así 😉.
There was something about the mouth that I didn't like, so I corrected that detail to make it more closed, and I actually liked it better that way 😉.
Dibujé las pestañas con un lápiz y las oscurecí con marcador negro. Usé lápiz rosado para dibujar el fondo.
I drew the eyelashes with a pencil and darkened them with a black marker. I used a pink pencil to draw the background.
Y este retrato está listo 👌🏻. Creo que los colores fríos hacen resaltar la elegancia de esta modelo y su estilo refinado. ¿Qué opinan ustedes?
