Os muros carregados de marcas e texturas contam histórias silenciosas de quem passa, de quem mora, de quem protege. O muro coroado por cacos de vidro se impõe como um dos símbolos mais fortes da obra. Ele representa uma segurança particular, improvisada, quase agressiva, fruto de uma realidade onde o medo e a desigualdade moldam a arquitetura cotidiana. The classic elements of the street... lampposts, wires crisscrossing the sky, crooked signs, worn sidewalks, construct a familiar and, at the same time, harsh landscape. They are fragments of a functional, but tired, city. The forgotten public telephone symbolizes the passage of time, leaving objects behind, while new urgencies arise. It remains there as a vestige of another era, just like many of these constructions that endure even without maintenance, sustained by necessity and adaptation.
Os elementos clássicos da rua... postes de luz, fios cruzando o céu, placas tortas, calçadas gastas, constroem uma paisagem familiar e, ao mesmo tempo, dura. São fragmentos de uma cidade funcional, mas cansada. O telefone público esquecido simboliza o tempo que passa e deixa objetos para trás, enquanto novas urgências surgem. Ele permanece ali como um vestígio de outra era, assim como muitas dessas construções que resistem mesmo sem manutenção, sustentadas pela necessidade e pela adaptação.
Night intensifies this atmosphere. The dark sky, punctuated by the moon, contrasts with the harshness of the facades and reinforces the feeling of urban solitude, but also of vigilance. The city never fully sleeps. Even when it seems silent, it observes, listens, and breathes. There is a constant tension between abandonment and belonging, between neglect and care, visible in every detail of the scene.
