El día de hoy les presento mi versión de Stimpy, la segunda animación que hago basado en la memorable caricatura “Ren y Stimpy", creada por John Kricfalusi. En mi publicación pasada les mostré a Ren, y obviamente también les tenía que traer al otro protagonista del show: Stimpson J. Gato (no sabía que ese era el verdadero nombre de Stimpy).
Stimpy es representado como un gato rojo, regordete, de nariz azul e indudablemente estúpido e idiota… muy idiota. Es diametralmente opuesto a Ren (un chihuahua demente y neurótico), siendo frecuentemente victima de sus maltratos. A pesar de ello, Stimpy le tiene mucho aprecio a Ren y lo considera un gran amigo. Esto fue lo que hice con el gato imbécil:

Today I present my version of Stimpy, the second animation I made based on the memorable cartoon "The Ren & Stimpy Show", created by John Kricfalusi. In my last post I introduced you to Ren, and obviously I had to bring you the other protagonist of the show as well: Stimpson J. Cat (I didn't know that was Stimpy's real name).
Stimpy is represented as a red, plump, blue-nosed cat and undoubtedly stupid and idiotic ... very idiotic. He is diametrically opposite to Ren (an insane and neurotic Chihuahua), being frequently the victim of his mistreatment. Despite this, Stimpy is very fond of Ren and considers him a great friend. This is what I did with the moron cat:
La serie era muy asquerosa, turbia y escatológica en muchas de sus escenas, de hecho, lo anterior no es nada comparado con las cosas que ahí se veían. Creo que hago honor a la idiotez de Stimpy con esta animación, desde luego, agregando mi estilo personal en la recreación del personaje. Comparto con ustedes algunas imágenes del proceso de desarrollo del personaje.
The series was very disgusting, cloudy and eschatological in many of its scenes, in fact, the above is nothing compared to the things that were seen there. I think I live up to Stimpy's idiocy with this animation, of course, adding my own personal flair in recreating the character. I share with you some images of the character development process.

Me apoye en el programa Blender 2D para realizar esta animación de Stimpy. Destacan la deformación de la nariz, dándole un aspecto de rugosidad; los pies ilustrados como una masa gelatinosa en el piso; la barriga grasosa; y en general, la deformación del personaje en torno a darle un aspecto creepy. Entre los colores resaltan el rojo, el azul y el color blanco crema, característicos de Stimpy. Jugué con la escena para crear una imagen algo... asquerosa.

I leaned on the Blender 2D program to make this Stimpy animation. They highlight the deformation of the nose, giving it a rough appearance; the feet illustrated as a jelly-like mass on the floor; the greasy belly; and generally warping the character around to give him a creepy look. Among the colors, red, blue and creamy white, characteristic of Stimpy, stand out. I played around with the scene to create a somewhat ... gross image.
