I've seen a lot of digital art in this community now and I'm just amazed how good the artist here are. It inspires me at the same time. I had a thought the other day that I want also to explore this field.
So yesterday I began to think of a concept of the one I will make. Since I'm just new in this one and I don't have a capability yet to make an art just like the arts here. I think of a simple one which is a bomb. I want to make a collection of card bombs with different features ofcourse.
Since I have the application, Autodesk sketchbook here on my phone, I opened it and began to make something.
I used the feature of this app which is the symmetry and it enables you to draw something identical. With this one also shortened your time to draw something if you want it in both areas. I used it for the eyes and mouth.
I picked up colors that will suit to the bomb and I just thought that the typical color of a bomb is black. Actually a cannon ball to be precise. It's really hard for me to choose the right colors to use that's why I did a trial and error.
At the end I got the right color for each part and I can see that my subject is too plain that's why I draw something like a watermelon on top of it because the story behind this one is that when it explodes. the seeds are a mini bomb that will explode in a chain reaction pattern. I didn't add more to it because it will be over decorated. The last thing I did was it's background which is something I liked. And boom I got that final outcome.
The first one is a male bomb and I thought to make it's partner so I made a female one but the twist of it is that it's a vampire. The story behind this one is that every droplets of it's blood when it's explode will explode also.
Just like the first one I used the feature of the application to make the outline. I started with that circle and I thought that it's eyes will be the likes used in anime.
I had a little bit of hardtime in thinking what to include since it's a girl and plus it's a vampire so I thought to draw two fangs in it's mouth plus that dripping blood from it. I also thought that I have to color it's face with a light color so I chose that one. I also add some cape just like those costumes in vampires in movies.
Since there's vast space in it's forehead so I thought to draw some hair and the outcome was that one. Something like a human girl having tentacles as it's hands. The longer one is it's hair, I'm just amazed how it end up like that.
And to finish this vampire lady bomb, I add some background that will suit to it's design.
