Greetings, artists from all worlds and all realities!
Here are some more creations inspired by memories of my time in the Caucasus and from the depths of my dreams!
The following images were made using photos I've taken in the caucasus, Leonardo.ai, my custom build of Disco Diffusion, photo-manipulation, photobashing and sketching through Gimp and Inkscape, and post editing/composition in darktable.
I've used reference pictures and initial images that I've taken in Georgia to create accurate-ish landscape in the background of some Leonardo.ai generated images
This results in more precise and detailed mountains, instead of the usual ai generated summits that (for me) kinda all look the same
House and village-wise, I've used Leonard.ai to completely transform the usual stone-houses you find in the Caucasus (flat rocks piled up together) into wood structures, giving it a Norse aspect
Through experimenting, I've come to realize that flat-rock houses like those you can find in the Caucasus are quite hard to be reproduced by an AI generative software
So, to avoid a silly jagged and not consistent look in my houses, I decided to switch the materials and go for the wood approach
Though I've lost in authenticity, it ended up creating a very unique vibe and landscape, mixing the eastern mountains of the world with Nordic architecture and wood structures that you would not find in these parts
I'm honestly having so much fun making these wallpapers, and my computer has never looked so dreamy, I just leave it turned on, on my desk to look at the desktop wallpaper rotation
Mixing photos or other creations from other generative software into a Leonardo.ai workflow can be a lot of fun and open a lot of doors, from my experience so far
From the classic initial image option to the image prompt, there's even a simple "model training" option in which you can train your own simple mini-models to have fun with
