Greetings, artists from all worlds and all realities!
Today, I thought I'd share with you the second part of the project I've had going on in the back of my head. I hope you like it!
The following images were made using my custom build of Disco Diffusion, photo-manipulation and digital drawing through Gimp and Inkscape, and post editing/composition in darktable.

Introducing, the second race!
This creation belongs to the second group of the universe I am currently creating. For now, the names I have in mind are either the Ghels, the Nozieth, the Nizians... They are the United, individual consciousness and beings that have achieved unity and transcendence through eons of evolution, by replacing (partly) the carbon that served as a basis of existence by silicon. Hence removing the need to support their physical vessel, or any survival instinct, leaving the Mind free to expand and explore itself.
I needed something to contrast the first race, experiencing individuality in an organic way, and coming from an overall "togetherness" of existence; so I decided to incorporate another group that went the exact opposite direction, from individuality to oneness.
This will allow, in a cross-media context, to philosophically explore different and opposed viewpoints (philosophically). With a first group of beings exploring what individuality is, what organicity is, and what existing as a Mind separate from the rest, I can explore more tangible topics, more relevant and identifiable ones.
With a group that, on the other hand, has no need for material things, for sustainability, for basic needs, for certain concepts that society uses, I can explore in a more utopic/purely metaphysical way what existence can/could be, and approach topics that are part of my interest for social and societal mechanics (economy, psychology, ecology, bio-power, etc).
Third race coming soon.
It is already designed, and already thought through, and is supposed to allow more "identification" by the audience, to allow to relate to some characters, the third point of view, closer to the one a human in our society would have on these topics, as both opposing the first 2 groups but at the same time being a synthesis of them.
