I made a little mushroom insence holder with sculpey

I used to have sculpey nights with friends, we would have a few drinks and sculpt some stuff then bake it in the oven and paint it.

Last year I had a hankering to play with it again and bought a box and unfortunately put it to the side and didn't use it.

This weekend I was looking for something and came across it and decided to try my hand at it again.

I didn't want to make something useless, I saw some insence sitting on the counter and thought a practical use could be a incense holder, here it is :

I used a mix of paints (acrylic, gouache and watercolor). After it dried I applied a layer of varnish which unfortunately made the colors a bit muddy. Not sure if it's due to the type of paint or perhaps I should have let it dry longer. It's still cute tho....
