A Matter Of the Animal Mind | A Mixed Media Art Project for Cosmic Creations - Inspired By Nature - No. 8

After completing the Cosmic Creations No. 8 Contest theme "Inspired by Nature." I wanted to share with you another mixed media art project related to the theme. For this theme for this project is "the animal mind". Beauty is all around us that we as humans appreciate. Sometimes I wonder where animals know and understand the beauty of nature. Are they in awe of it as humans are? The relationship of while animals to the natural environment is that they depend upon it for their survival. Perhaps they are too busy with this task to notice, understand, and appreciate it.

In creating my mixed media art project for "Inspired By Nature - No. 8, I wanted to highlight two awesome pure fractals I created in the advanced version of the fractal rendering program, Apophysis 7X. I chose those two particular fractals because I felt one would add a bold color; the other, a subdued color to the scene.

For the background, I discovered a lovely forest scene in a free-sourced image.

For the animal in the scene, I wanted to include two stable diffusion image. I used two different stable diffusion programs. Deep Dream Generator created the white female panther. StarryAI created the white tiger. With my descriptions, It was my intention to design the images appear white to contrast with the dark background.

One image would be an animal portrayal; the other, a human-type animal. Both turned out nicely, I feel.

To blend the images, I uploaded all into my design program Canva. This program affords me premium features such as colorizing, resizing, background removal, filtering and animation in my Annual Pro Membership Subscription. I share with you my procedures.

To a blank, white canvas, I added the forest background image.

Resized forest background; then duplicated it to fill canvas.

Added pure fractal titled "Explosion".

Removed background of white surreal female panther. Positioned in center of landscape.

Added the white tiger animal stable diffusion image.

Positioned white tiger over the tigress head. Colorized the image.

Added red fractal ball as headpiece. Completed project.
