Hello and welcome back to another fractal digital art design. This week I wanted to share my collection of digital images I designed in a water setting. That meant bringing all the various alien sea creature designs together in one place. I decided to place them in the bottom of the sea where they can roam freely. I was totally surprised in my designs that I was able to duplicate the images that resemble jellyfish and stingrays. The creatures' seabed is made of fractal images also in the form of grass and leaves. I find fractal art images perfect for representing alien art.
This is how I created "Beneath the Sea"
A fractal is defined a geometric pattern repeated at smaller or larger scales to produce irregular shapes and surfaces that cannot be represented by classical geometry.1 With that definition, then fractal art is a visual interpretation of the mathematical coordinates that's infinite in detail. Some parts of the fractal may look similar, however they are not identical in their form.
In creating the fractal art, I utilized Apophysis 2.09. It's a Windows application fractal program that is open sourced and utilized for rendering fractal flames.2 I love working with the program to tests the limits of the numerous variations and depths in creating the digital fractal images.
Each fractal image was created using different weights and variations for the triangles (called "transforms") on the grid. The more weight given the particular transform, the more stronger your final design will be in terms of sharp details.
While creating the design for the four jellyfish style stingrays, I was surprised at the detail. Once I designed the first image, I moved the coordinates to see how the image would react. The new coordinates all show the outline of the sea creatures in different tail spans.
Below I share the design of each alien stingray jellyfish in Apophysis 2.09:

For the final stage of my fractal drawing design, I turned to Canva. Utilizing Canva as a design program means I have numerous tools at my disposal, such as resizing, image adjustments, background removal, and filters.
I hope you like my Fractal Rendering digital art.
I previously provided directions on how to create fractal drawings. To see complete instructions on maneuvering and manipulating the triangles, see my how-to post here.
Thanks for taking the time to view my post. If you'd like to try any of the programs I mention here, just let me know below, and I'll help if you require any.
Happy rest of the week everyone with whatever your endeavors.
