In response to the Alien Art Hive Community's Inktober Prompts that were part of their Cosmic Creations Edition #6 Contest, Cosmic Creations Edition #6 is LIVE: INKTOBER PROMPTS, members were encouraged to choose a prompt theme from the Inktober Prompts list for their entry into the contest.
After my entry into the contest with Prompt #17 - DEMON which I published on 9/23, I decided to take the Inktober concept one step further. I will focus on the remaining 30 Prompts on the list, beginning with Prompt #1. How fun the themes will be preparing my projects utilizing the mixed media art themes. If a Drabble story (100 words) or other flash fiction emerges, then all the more fun!
Below is my project for Inktober Prompt #18:
Hayim reached the edge of the mountain. Staring out over the horizon, the saddle awaited. His billy looked ahead. Their village lay just beyond the second mountain. He glanced back. He could possibly retreat. But the herdsman would not survive the treacherous cliff.
Stay on the saddle between the mountains and navigate the path. It was the only sensible solution to reaching safety on the other side.
My approach to Inktober Prompt #18 - Saddle explores the geographical definition of the word. I don't hear it being used often, as the more knowledgeable answer for the name that is an apparatus used when riding a horse to secure the rider.
The star of my project is the pure fractal I created in Apophysis 7X. I envisioned a non-traditional moon in the skyline.
For the two stable diffusion images I used in this project, I called upon the program, StarryAI, to produce the images I envisioned as a goat herder crossing a dangerous stretch of ridge to the other side of the mountain. One image was for the mountains with the saddle in the middle. The other image was for the herdsman.

To blend the images, I uploaded all into Canva. Below are my procedures:
Started with a blank, white canvas.
Added the saddle stable diffusion image.
Duplicated and resized the saddle image to show the low terrain between the mountains.
Added the stable diffusion image for the herdsman.
Removed background of the herdsman image. Resized and repositioned it between the mountains.
Added moon fractal in skyline. Completed project.
