A portrait. A portrait. A portrait. Are they the same, or different individuals? I cast my shadow upon the waters. What stared back shocked and left me bewildered. I was tempted to title this one, the many faces of me, but chose a reflective view. Sometimes I'm positive. Other times, reflective to the point of withdrawing inward to deal with situations.
However, no matter how one views a situation, it's how the matter is resolved given the external and internal stressors that can often intervene and make life difficult.
My intention in designing this mixed media project was to reflect on the past year's achievements. Of course, with success comes failures. I discovered an interesting free-sourced image of a female with a split design embellishments on opposite sides of her face. Depicting the failures I accomplished by flipping the female image upside down.
The other elements, including the honeycomb abstract background blended well with the female and added a soft, textured look.
Below are my procedures that produced the still version in Canva with the images blended as shown.

Another fun project in Mosh Pro. I uploaded the still version from Canva to see how the program would handle the design using the various filters. I ultimately chose, the TILE Filter.
This feature allowed me add a vertical element to the image that resembled a mirror scrolling by taking my life views along, reflecting on what came and what will be.
