Rock Water Globe | A Digital Drawing

Hello everyone. This week I visited some of my digital art projects I completed a few months ago. I located one that represents a rock that looks like a water globe. It's floating on top a body of water. Flowers are in the background as if sitting on a far away island. But the effect is that it looks as if the flowers are on top of the water globe.

I love the colors represented in my drawing. The sky is particularly lovely with a peach, red and yellow subtle glow.

I wanted to include dark clouds to give it a mysterious feel in the sky portion. Next, I wanted to include some dark water. For the flowers, I was hoping they would reflect in the water globe. I was pleasantly surprised when my brushstrokes produced this effect.

To complete this drawing, I utilized the digital program Nvidia Gaugan Artificial Intelligence drawing program. I feel my drawing turned out really well. You can add various elements, i.e. buildings, grounds, landscape, and plants with the tools provided. The program takes your basic drawing strokes and apply them to a blank canvas. In doing so, the software generates a photorealistic imagery from your basic brush strokes.

Nvidia Gaugan

The basic strokes you apply to your blank canvas will look strange until the program interprets them. Once you work with the program and become familiar with the colors represented by each feature, you'll begin to imagine how the drawing will look from the outline of the image.

The colors shown in my brushstrokes are:
Maroon = rocks
Light blue = sky
Gray = clouds
Green = trees
Regular blue = sea

Deep Dream Generator

One of the programs I use to enhance my images is Deep Dream Generator. This program takes your basic photos that you upload and add different background and foreground features.

1. Just upload your image to the online site: deepdreamgenerator.com.
2. Select the enhancement image the program provides. Numerous images are included for use with your free membership.
3. Select the parameters you'd like, such as the ones I used below. This will determine how your enhanced image will look.
4. Click GENERATE at the bottom of the screen.

This is the resulting image from my Deep Dream Generator enhancement project:

This enhancement turned out great I think. It has an underwater eerie feel to it as though its yet to be discovered. Looks like a underwater world locked inside a dome.
