Hello friends of Hive!
Greetings my creative people! A hug to all, Happy Sunday to all, The old east is full of a thousand and one kinds of stories, of towns and their people, of strangers and fugitives, of thieves and train robbers; of lawsuits in canteens; of the gold rush. But one of the main characters in every Old West town is undoubtedly the Sheriff, in his role of doing justice and preserving order and law. With this context I present this new work about a Chibi-style Sheriff, with his emblematic star with circles on the vertices, hat and cowboy boots, leather belt and his pistols ready to be drawn. I have made this drawing with Adobe Illustrator. Hope you like!

¡Hola amigos!
¡Saludos mi gente creativa! Un abrazo a todos, Feliz domingo para todos, El viejo este está repleto de mil y una forma de historias, de pueblos y su gente, de forasteros y fugitivos, de ladrones y asaltantes de trenes; de pleitos en cantinas; de la fiebre por el oro. Pero uno de los personajes principales en todo pueblo del viejo oeste sin duda alguna es el Sherif, en su función de hacer justicia y preservar el orden y la ley. Con este contexto les presento este nuevo trabajo sobre un Sherif al estilo Chibi, con su emblemática estrella con círculos en los vértices, sombrero y botas vaqueras, cinturón de cuero y sus pistolas listas para ser desenfundadas. Este dibujo lo he realizado con Adobe Illustrator. Espero que les guste!
PASO A PASO/ STEP TO STEP
Paso 1 (Boceto y Line arte) / Step 1 (Sketch and Line art)
Lo primero que hice fue hacer un boceto chibi con postura de pie y de frente y luego trabaje el line art. Partiendo para ello de círculos y óvalos para construir la cara y sombrero de forma simétrica. Luego dibuje el cuerpo y vestuario como botas vaqueras; cinturón; y pañuelo.
The first thing I did was make a chibi sketch with a standing and frontal pose and then I worked on the line art. Starting for it from circles and ovals to build the face and hat symmetrically. Then draw the body and clothing as cowboy boots; belt; and handkerchief.
Paso 2 (Color) / Step 2 (Colour)
Empecé a darle un color base de manera general, y luego dibuje las sombras y zonas de luces, y por ultimo detalles en distintas partes y para finalizar establecí un fondo con un cielo degradado en azules, unas nubes y un suelo arenoso.
I started to give it a base color in a general way, and then I drew the shadows and light areas, and finally details in different parts and to finish I established a background with a blue gradient sky, some clouds and a sandy soil.
