Hello friends of Hive!

Greetings my creative people! A hug to all, Happy day to all, Today I share a digital art of a meerkat in the moonlight in the arid desert dunes. This curious little animal, if you didn't know it, lives in desert places and in groups of up to forty; during the day they search for food by digging in the ground or looking among the rocks; they are characterized as the watchmen of the desert by the position they adopt; those seen standing upright on their two legs are known as watchmen. I have made this drawing with Adobe Illustrator. Hope you like!

¡Saludos mi gente creativa! Un abrazo a todos, Feliz día para todos, Hoy les comparto un arte digital de una suricato a la luz de la luna en las áridas dunas desérticas. Este curioso animalito sino lo sabias vive en lugares desérticos y en grupos de hasta cuarenta; durante el día se dedican a la búsqueda de alimentos excavando en el suelo o buscando entre las rocas; se caracterizan por ser los vigilantes del desierto por la posición que adoptan; a los que se les ve erguido sobre sus do patas se les conoce como vigilantes. Este dibujo lo he realizado con Adobe Illustrator. Espero que les guste!

PASO A PASO/ STEP TO STEP

Paso 1 (Boceto y Line arte) / Step 1 (Sketch and Line art)

Lo primero que hice fue hacer un boceto de una suricato de frente y sentada sobre sus patas sobre la arena. Luego realice el delineado y modifique el grosor de los trazos, teniendo así el line art deseado.

The first thing I did was make a sketch of a meerkat from the front and sitting on its paws on the sand. Then make the outline and modify the thickness of the strokes, thus having the desired line art.

Paso 2 (Color) / Step 2 (Colour)

Empecé a darle un color base de manera general, y luego dibuje las sombras y zonas de luces, y por ultimo detalles en distintas partes y para finalizar establecí un fondo de un cielo degradado con una luna y la arena desertica.

I started to give it a base color in a general way, and then I drew the shadows and light areas, and finally details in different parts and to finish I established a background of a degraded sky with a moon and desert sand.
