Greetings my people! A hug to all, today I bring you my participation for Splinterlands art contest 239, this time I chose the byzantine kitty letter (Fan Art). In a baby chibi version, a beautiful cat with star eyes. Below I share the process of this illustration. I hope you like it.

¡Hola amigos!

¡Saludos mi gente! Un abrazo a todos, hoy les traigo mi participación para Splinterlands art contest 239, esta vez elegí la carta de byzantine kitty (Fan Art). En una versión baby chibi, una hermosa gata con ojos de estrella. A continuación les comparto el proceso de esta ilustración Espero que les guste.

PROCESO / PROCESS

Paso 1 (Boceto y Line arte) / Step 1 (Sketch and Line art)

Lo primero que hice fue dibujar un boceto de byzantine kitty con sus alas desplegadas y levitando, luego delinee todo con la herramienta pluma para tener listo el line art, para este trabajo estoy haciendo uso de adobe illustrator.

The first thing I did was draw a sketch of byzantine kitty with its wings unfolded and levitating, then I outlined everything with the pen tool to have the line art ready, for this work I am using Adobe Illustrator.

Paso 2 (Color) / Step 2 (Colour)

Empecé por aplicar un color base para byzantine kitty.

I started by applying a base color for byzantine kitty.

Luego empecé a trabajar las sombras y las zonas de luces para crear más volumen, y para finalizar los detalles de estrella en los ojos y un fondo radial degradado de violeta y azul oscuro con unas nubes y luces esparcidas . Espero que les guste.

Then I started working on the shadows and the highlights to create more volume, and to finish the star details in the eyes and a radial gradient background of purple and dark blue with scattered clouds and lights. Hope you like.
