I have been working on a small series of drawings called, The Seven Gods of my Nightmares.
Geometry in dreams. Maybe that sounds soothing, but as nightmares are the topic in this post it goes without saying that it is not in any sense the soothing and orderly geometry known from mathematics. Euclid's not it.
So not being real geometry makes it hard to explain, impossible to draw. The best I can say is that it has to do with a wrongness, a facade with windows that doesn't align, but still do align for example. I'd say these are among my worst nightmares. They are solipsist, terrifying - That is really all I can say about them. But I am not alone. My wife's cousin have told me of a dream with a moving doodle in the sky. When I asked her if it was a good or a bad thing, she said, "bad!"
