At a time when witches are still roaming the world, one day a witch’s broom fell off in the middle of the forest.
A little girl named Sally, who was out picking berries with her mother, decided to fix the witch’s broom, but not before muttering a few choice words and promising to return it.
The next day Sally told her mother she wanted to go on an adventure and find the witch she fixed her broom for. Her mother laughed at her and said there was no such thing as witches in this world. Sally had heard that before, but she was sure this witch was different.
So she set off on a journey filled with twists and turns. Along her way, Sally met different people and animals who told her about the witch who lived in their part of the forest, but Sally never did find that witch. Until one day when she ran into a very old lady carrying a basket and they became fast friends.
In the magical, enchanted forest, a young girl discovers a mysterious creature living in her garage. She soon learns that the creature is actually a curse that ought to have been long forgotten.
She also learns that the curse will only work its magic if she can find one specific object in the forest and bring it back to her house. The last thing she expects is for the creature to cause havoc by giving her an electric shock for trying to leave with it.
She is surprised by the creature’s sudden outburst. In a couple of hours, creature is completely immobilized and can do no more harm.
A traveler is in the cursed forest to collect firewood for the witch who has cursed him. As he rounds a corner, he hears a child cry. He finds her and she begs him to help her find her way home, which he does. As they make their way to her house, he finds out that she is tired of being lost and having no one to play with in the forest and asks how long they have been living in the forest...
