Colourful Northern Lights Dream
What kind of dream have you had recently while sleeping? I often have dreams when I sleep. Actually, I usually have not just one dream per night. I see at least two or three. However, I usually forget the first one by the time I wake up. I normally remember the most vivid one.
A couple of days ago, I had an extremely vivid dream. It was so colourful that I couldn't forget it even after a few days had passed. I decided to create a collage artwork based on that dream.
I generated an AI image of me and my dog. My dog looks very similar to him. I could have used his actual photo, but I chose to use the AI image instead. I colored myself with my favourite colours, added some images to the main picture, and then processed it digitally.
This artwork looks exactly like what I saw in my dream a few days ago. The colours of the Northern Lights were purple, pink, green, blue, white, and emerald green, all moving and shining in the navy blue sky, just like this.
My dog and I looked up at the sky together forever. As soon as I woke up early in the morning, I immediately told my husband, even though he wasn't fully awake. He usually doesn't remember what I tell him early in the morning, but this time, he remembers my excited story.
I have seen the Northern Lights before in my area, but they were never as bright and vivid as in my dream. I hope I can see such colourful Northern Lights someday in my life.

カラフルなオーロラの夢
最近、眠っている間にどんな夢を見ましたか？わたしはほんとうによく夢を見ます。というか、一晩にひと夢ではなく何本も立て続けに夢を見ます。平均的に一晩で２−３夢くらいは見ます。ところが、起きてしばらく経つといちばんはじめに見た夢は忘れがちです。もっぱら、いちばん印象が深かった夢を覚えています。
数日前、ものすごくカラフルな色合いの夢を見ました。色鮮やか過ぎて、数日経っても鮮明に覚えているくらいです。早速コラージュアートを作ることにしました。
AIで自分と愛犬のイメージを作りました。犬があまりにも似ているので驚きました。実際の犬の写真を使うかどうか迷ったのですが、とても似ているのでそのまま使うことにしました。自分を好きな色に塗り替え、画像をいろいろ加え、デジタル加工を施しました。
私が見た夢とそっくりなアートができあがりました。夢の中に出てたオーロラは紫、ピンク、緑、青、白、エメラルドグリーン色で、それぞれが濃い紺色の空の上で動いて光っていました。
夢の中の私と犬は、きれいなオーロラに圧倒されて夜空を永遠に見上げたままでした。朝早く夢から目覚めたわたしは、真っ先にまだ半分しか目が覚めていない主人に夢の話をしました。普段、朝早くに伝えたことはほぼ忘れている主人ですが、この日の夢の話はなぜか覚えていてくれたようです。
今住んでいる地域でオーロラを見たことがあるのですが、さすがに夢のようにカラフルではありませんでした。生きているうちにこんなに鮮明なオーロラを実際に見てみたいものです。
