Hanafuda- Full Moon
I created an artwork titled 'Hanafuda-Full Moon' using a combination of AI and digital hand drawing. The piece features a collage of images resembling Hanafuda card shapes and sizes. I am thinking about making NFT with this artwork someday in the future.
Hanafuda, the Japanese playing cards, holds a special place in my heart. I have fond memories of playing these cards with my father and brother during my younger years. Although the rules can be challenging to recall, the vibrant and artistic picture cards always fascinated me. The cool art on each card is truly stunning, making me eager to collect the beautiful cards while enjoying the game.
Among the 48 cards, my absolute favourite is the Full Moon card, known as 'Susuki ni Mochizuki.' It is a simple but awesome design with a white full moon against a red sky. Below the moon, a hill is covered with susuki grass (Japanese pampas grass) in black. I adore the striking contrast of red, white, and black in this composition. The joy of collecting a hand that includes this Full Moon card is a cherished memory for me. This particular card signifies the month of August, and each card in the Hanafuda deck beautifully represents the symbols associated with different months.
I created this version using AI and added colour through drawing. The moon is somewhat hidden behind the black hill. This is a bit different from the original Hanafuda picture.
This is a handwritten version. I attempted to stay as close to the original Hanafuda as possible. I enjoy digital drawing!
This is the container for Nintendo's Hanafuda cards. I love the Tengu design. I lost my original Hanafuda cards when I was young, but this set was a thoughtful gift from my student when I introduced him to the game. He is such a nice person!

花札 芒に望月
「芒（すすき）に望月」というタイトルのアート作品を作りました。AIで作ったものとデジタルで絵を描いたバージョンです。このコラージュアートを実際の花札の形やサイズに近づけました。後からこのアートをNFT にできればと考えています。
昔、父と弟と一緒に花札で遊んだ思い出があります。私にとって花札のルールは簡単ではなかったのですが、花札の絵柄の美しさに魅了されていました。一枚一枚の花札に描かれているアートは大変素晴らしいです。ゲーム中にきれいなお気に入りのカードを集めるのが好きでした。
４８枚のカードの中で一番好きなカードは芒に望月のカードです。シンプルなデザインですが、白い月が赤い空に映える美しいカードです。月の下には黒色のススキが生えている丘のデザインです。このカードを含んだ役を集めるのが楽しかったのを覚えています。このカードは八月のカードで、他の花札はそれぞれ月にちなんだ絵柄が描かれています。
これはAIでメインの画像を作ったもので、後から絵を描いて加えたものです。月は黒い丘の裏に隠れています。元々の花札の絵柄とは少し違います。
これは手で描いたバージョンです。花札のオリジナルにできる限り近づけて描きました。デジタルで絵を描くのは楽しいです！
これは任天堂の花札カードの入れ物です。天狗のデザインがいいですね。小さい頃に持っていた花札カードはもうありません。この花札は生徒さんに花札を紹介した時に私の話を聞いてプレゼントしてくれたのです。とてもいい方です！
