Hi folks! How are you today?

This is my new creation named as Sakura, which was motivated by the Haru Matsuri, or Spring Festival.

I worked on this drawing nonstop for 23 hours. Used a new technique using a golden pen, resulting countless millions of tiny dots for the shadowing.

The Japanese word for cherry blossom is sakura.

Many anime characters are also named after cherry blossoms, including one if my favorite, Sakura Kinomoto.

Sakura 🌸

The blossoms only bloom for a few short weeks before falling to the ground.

A reminder that life is fleeting and we should cherish every moment.
