I present for your consideration a parking lot beneath the bridge of some unknown city that shall remain unknown. How, when, where, and why you are here are merely suggestions lost in the cosmos because you are now smack in the middle of the mural zone.
In front of you is a mural with a flying saucer and funky letters in an urban environment and a bridge. Is this the extra-terrestrial vehicle that brought you here? At this point the question is academic, so you turn and walk just around the corner.
The words DBTCB on top of a purple building with a bridge behind it is a clue to the puzzle of your existence in this place. Yet its meaning remains undecipherable and so you move on.
A beautiful woman with feathers, cranes flying beneath an eagle moon, and the universe opens a realm of possibilities that is just too marvelous to contemplate. You turn away from so much beauty because it threatens to overwhelm your mind.
A bird looks at you, and you look at the bird.
A woman with four eyes looks at you, and you look at her with your two eyes, and a bird with a flower in its beak looks at you with one big eye while you look at it with your third eye.
Then a tentacle slithers on the floor and you run!
In your rush, you stumble upon a lion, sometimes it looks like a fox, an eagle, a wolf, a cougar- the images are confusing, and they swirl in your mind like shards of a broken reality.
When the topography of reality solidifies once again, you find yourself in front of a holographic figure.
“Why are you here?” The geometric entity says. “When did you get here? Where did you arrive? How did you arrive? Who brought you here? What is your purpose?”
You have no answers.
“Where are you going?” the entity insists.
You shake your head and walk back across the parking lot in existential despair.
Shape within shapes that appear to be faces but are instead the flora and fauna of a place you never knew. Coiling and swirling faces that melt and smoke like vapours in a highway coiled on the palm of your hand.

Squiggles and all the missing pieces the lens of your experience did not capture, never revealed in the grand scheme of things, try as you may, you will never know the whole because as the page scrolls and comes to an end, the time has come for you to return to the familiar places you once knew, beyond time and space, beyond the mural zone.
