Without

Today I want to share with you this new artwork named Without.

I considered creating a mew artwork
about portrait of a woman, but then I realized I already had an idea in mind.

If you follow me, you are aware that one of my interests is female representation in the arts.

I believe that's why I was able to make this piece of art so quickly after having the idea.

Everybody has a unique face, and every person has a unique relationship with their own face. Different people are more or less at ease with how they look.

I eliminated the face from this painting in an effort to reflect everyone. Perhaps in opposition to all of these trendy aesthetic procedures?

Possibly not! Just something lovely but undefined.

A few thoughts on the creative process

Using Midjourney as my assistant, my new buddy, requested him to build a model and begin developing the background.

I chose a gentle color scheme that makes me think of the fashion scene in the 1960s or perhaps the 1970s.

With some inspiration from painters and fashion designers that I enjoy, my art began to emerge from my thoughts and take shape—feathery clothing, pink hair, and a background that contrasted but matched.

I wanted a blend of colors in the background, but I also wanted it to contrast with the model.

It might be a photo shoot. How do you feel?

Repositioned to give a 3D appearance to be admired from many angles, an approach that was inspired by ongoing projects.

Then... I removed the face.
