For this occasion I share with you this art that I made taking as reference the card Pit Ogre.

This is a pixel made in 64 x 64 using the standard palette and this time adding colors on the go.

The drawing is done using Aseprite.

Para esta ocasión les comparto este arte que hice tomando como referencia la carta Pit Ogre.

Este es un pixel hecho en 64 x 64 usando de partida la paleta estándar y en esta ocasión añadiendo colores sobre la marcha..

El dibujo es hecho usando Aseprite.

I start by choosing the color #0c0d03, which is a greenish black, to make the sketch of the creature that will be green.

To do this I start using the vertical symmetry tool.

Empiezo escogiendo el color #0c0d03 que es un negro verdoso para hacer el boceto de la criatura que será de color verde.

Para ello empiezo usando la herramienta de simetría vertical.

I begin to add the colors of the ogre's body based on #99e550 and from there I use the shadows and highlights tool to place the colors in different areas and create the effect on the ogre that I am looking for, a cross between pointillism and cubism.

Comienzo a agregar los colores del cuerpo del ogro basados en el #99e550 y partiendo de allí uso la herramienta de sombras e iluminaciones para ir colocando los colores en distintas zonas y crear el efecto en el ogro que busco, un cruce entre puntillismo y cubismo.

I am shaping the belly, pectorals, head, and horns with this mixed technique of pointillism and cubism, carefully sculpting the highlights and mixing them with the shadows to create the effect of depth.

Voy dándole forma con esta técnica mezclada de puntillismo y cubismo a la panza, los pectorales, la cabeza, y los cuernos, esculpiendo con cuidado las iluminaciones y mezclándolas con las sombras para crear el efecto de profundidad.

I make the outline softening with the colors that best match visually and I add my signature with a filter divided at 94 and my logo with an overlay and opacity at 105.

I also fixed some small details on the face, eliminating some noise that doesn't match, so now the face looks better.

Hago el delineado suavizando con los colores que mejoren concuerdan visualmente y agrego mi firma con un filtro de divide en 94 y mi logo con un overlay y opacidad en 105.

Además arreglo unos pequeños detalles en el rostro eliminando algo de ruido que no concuerda, asi ahora la cara se ve mejor.

I was able to challenge myself with the outlining on this occasion, which I really liked doing because it was super interesting and complicated to place the color that corresponded in each part of the drawing, since in many cases the color that corresponded was not the one that technically looked good and I had I had to break the rule by adding another one that visually created the effect, so this was defiant of the rules of color theory.

It was very fun to do it.

Pude desafiarme con el delineado en esta ocasión, que me gusto mucho hacerlo porque fue superinteresante y complicado el colocar el color que correspondía en cada parte del dibujo, pues en muchas ocasiones el color que se correspondió no era el que técnicamente se veía bien y tuve que romper la regla agregando otro que visualmente si creaba el efecto, así que esto fue desafiante ante las normas de la teoría del color.

Fue muy divertido hacerlo.
