Fire, an element that invites us to action,to movement, a symbol of transformation,its ashes seal the ritual, the constant cycle of life, our spirit is like fire,like the phoenix, that magical creature that dies and renews itself from its ashes, that energy that destroys and builds everything at the same time, an indomitable, immortal force,blessed by the energy of the sun, that star whose light gives life to the whole earth.When i draw or enter into my creative states, i am usually motivated by something in particular, perhaps a mood, a word, often the energy of something that seems intangible; this time i have thought and felt a lot of the elements of the earth, especially fire.
El fuego, elemento que nos invita a la acción, al movimiento,símbolo de transformación, sus cenizas sellan el ritual,el ciclo constante de la vida. Nuestro espíritu es como el fuego, como el ave fénix, esa criatura mágica que muere y se renueva desde sus cenizas, esa energía que destruye y construye todo a la vez. Una fuerza indomable, inmortal, bendecida por la energía del sol, esa estrella cuya luz da vida a toda la tierra. Cuando dibujo o entro en mis estados creativos, por lo general me motiva algo en particular, tal vez un estado de ánimo,una palabra, muchas veces la energía de algo que parece intangible;esta vez he pensado y sentido mucho a los elementos de la tierra, en especial al fuego.

This digital painting was created using Adobe Photoshop. As a base i wanted to use an old design, a small drawing/sketch made with traditional techniques that was used as the cover of a small notebook. There were four different designs that i really liked, the idea, the concept and i wanted to make a unique digital version. I would like to create a new version of all of them. You can see the notebooks in this old Post
Esta pintura digital fue creada usando Adobe Photoshop. Como base quise utilizar un viejo diseño, un pequeño dibujo/boceto hecho con técnicas tradicionales que fue utilizado como portada de una pequeña libreta de notas. Fueron cuatro diseños diferentes que me gustaron mucho, la idea, el concepto y quise hacer una versión única en digital. Me gustaría crear una nueva versión de todos ellos.
