Monster of the Day: Hiragana Monsters

There are three alphabets in Japan: Hiragana, Katakana and Kanji. Each has 55, 55 and 10K letters (luckily only 3K among 10K are used daily). The monsters have the same name as they are read. For example, this is an "a" (ɑ) monster.

They reside everywhere in our daily life.

Monster factory is a project of me (Hive account@akipponn) and my small daughter who has tons of monster friends. Hive account@akipponn digitizes the monsters and paint them with her daughter on her computer. Their dream is to make a series of monsters as NFT. As a first step, we practice digital drawing and publish the results on Hive :)
