Hello people!

This afternoon I took the task of finishing an illustration that for the moment I'm not going to share with you haha. But as such it has the same theme as this one 😊, I liked that illustration so much that I decided to make another cyberpunk, and the truth is that this is one of the themes that I enjoy the most, I guess because the more things and details the better, and also because of the type of illuminations. Although they are a bit tedious to work with, the positive thing about this is that it is very good to analyze the anatomy. In order not to extend more I share with you the process of this one.

¡¡¡Hola gente!!!

Esta tarde me di a la tarea de terminar una ilustración que por el momento no voy a compartir con ustedes jaja. Pero como tal tiene la misma temática que esta 😊, me gustó tanto esa ilustración que decidí hacer otra cyberpunk, y la verdad es que es una de las temáticas que más disfruto, supongo que porque cuantas más cosas y detalles mejor, y también por el tipo de iluminaciones. Aunque son un poco tediosas de trabajar, lo positivo de esto es que está muy bien para analizar la anatomía. Para no extenderme más comparto con ustedes el proceso de este.

I had started to paint with some pink, orange and vanilla tones, when I mixed them the skin became a little tanned, the funny thing is that it did not look like a natural tan, but it reminded me a lot of the movies when the protagonist went to a beauty salon to get a tan and ended up being carrot colored hehe....

Había iniciado a pintar con unos tonos rosas, naranjas y vainilla, al mezclarlos la piel quedó un poco bronceada, lo curioso es que no parecía un bronceado natural, sino que me recordó mucho a las películas cuando el protagonista iba a un salón de belleza a broncearse y terminaba color zanahoria jeje....

To slightly lower this tone without having to play with the saturation, what I did was to use the lighter tones and mix them a little, so I got this skin tone. The rest of the color palette was cool tones using blue as the main color.

Para disminuir ligeramente este tono sin tener que jugar con la saturación, lo que hice fue utilizar los tonos más claros y mezclarlos un poco, así conseguí este tono de piel. El resto de la paleta de colores eran tonos fríos utilizando el azul como color principal.

The next thing I did was to work on the whole portrait to leave the eyes last, I had the idea of making a bionic eye, but it was mostly the base structure, to see the gears and small wires, this was my main idea. But to tell the truth, sometimes the mind doesn't match well with the hands and it doesn't come out what you expect, hahaha the good thing is that a new illustration is a new opportunity to learn and analyze better some things, so in another time I will get a better finish of a bionic eye 😅.

Lo siguiente que hice fue trabajar en todo el retrato para dejar los ojos de último, tenía la idea de hacer un ojo biónico, pero era más que nada la estructura base, que se vieran los engranajes y pequeños cables, esa era mi idea principal. Pero a decir verdad, a veces la mente no se acopla bien con las manos y no sale lo que uno espera, jajaja lo bueno es que una nueva ilustración es una nueva oportunidad para aprender y analizar mejor algunas cosas, así que en otra ocasión lograré un mejor acabado de un ojo biónico 😅.
