Hello people! Happy Sunday everyone, welcome back to one of my art posts, this time I want to present you this illustration in which I worked the last two days. I always keep in mind that I have to surpass myself with every illustration I do, and the truth is that when I finished this one I was very happy with how it turned out. I know that the theme is quite dark, but it is what I like the most. Next I share with you the process.

¡Hola gente! Feliz domingo a todos, bienvenidos de nuevo a uno de mis posts de arte, esta vez quiero presentarles esta ilustración en la que trabajé los dos últimos días. Siempre tengo en cuenta que tengo que superarme con cada ilustración que hago, y la verdad es que cuando terminé esta quedé muy contenta de como quedó. Sé que el tema es bastante oscuro, pero es lo que más me gusta. A continuación comparto con ustedes el proceso.

Searching on pinterest I found a picture of a beautiful asian girl. Making the sketch I thought to take it to the dark, where half of her face looks deteriorated to the point where her skeleton is showing.

Then I went to the base colors and started with the shadows of the face, I tried to improve the nose, since it is always what gives me more work. Then I made the rest of the shadows on the face as well as on the skull and hands.

Buscando en pinterest encontré una foto de una hermosa chica asiática. Haciendo el boceto se me ocurrió llevarlo a lo oscuro, donde la mitad de su rostro se ve deteriorado al punto que se le ve el esqueleto.

Luego fui a los colores base y empecé con las sombras del rostro, procuré perfeccionar la nariz, ya que siempre es lo que más trabajo me da. Luego hice el resto de las sombras de la cara, así como las del cráneo y las manos.

For the hair, I changed the color playing with the "saturation and tone" of it, then with the watercolor brush I gave it some highlights playing with various shades of gray. Some of the locks on the side of the skull I placed a motion blur filter to give it a touch of fading.

CSP has by default a very nice lace brush, this was the one I used to give that touch to the clothes and I blurred it to adjust it to the rest.

Para el cabello, cambié el color jugando con la "saturación y el tono" del mismo, luego con el pincel de acuarela le di algunos reflejos jugando con varios tonos de gris. A algunos de los mechones del lado del cráneo les coloqué el filtro de desenfoque de movimiento para darle un toque de desvanecimiento.

CSP tiene por defecto un pincel de encaje muy bonito, este fue el que utilicé para darle ese toque a la ropa y lo difuminé para ajustarlo al resto.

Having already done most of the illustration, I placed the background in wine tone and with the layer in multiply blend and the color navy blue: I gave darkness to the environment, lowering the opacity of this layer to 65%. Then with the soft rubber brush I lowered the tone in the areas where I wanted more illumination.

Habiendo hecho ya la mayor parte de la ilustración, coloqué el fondo en tono vino y con la capa en mezcla múltiple y el color azul marino: Le di oscuridad al entorno, bajando la opacidad de esta capa al 65%. Luego con el pincel de goma suave bajé el tono en las zonas donde quería más iluminación.

Then I moved on to making the candle flame, I did it with the airbrush, changing the brush blending between: glitter and glitter overexposure, using the colors yellow, sky blue, orange, red and a touch of vanilla. 😁. I placed the gaussian blur and motion blur filter.

To finish, with the airbrush and the layer in strong light fusion I made the light reflections on the face and some other areas. I retouched some areas with shadows and for the background I placed some splashes in red, finishing this way.

Luego pasé a hacer la llama de la vela, lo hice con el aerógrafo, cambiando la mezcla del pincel entre: brillo y sobreexposición de brillo, utilizando los colores amarillo, azul celeste, naranja, rojo y un toque de vainilla. 😁. Coloqué el filtro de desenfoque gaussiano y desenfoque de movimiento.

Para terminar, con el aerógrafo y la capa en fusión de luz fuerte hice los reflejos de luz en el rostro y algunas otras zonas. Retoqué algunas zonas con sombras y para el fondo coloqué unas salpicaduras en rojo, finalizando de esta manera.
