Hi hivers, I hope you are having a nice week, today I am very excited to share this illustration, it has been really exhausting to make this one, I concentrated a lot on the details involved, I have been working on it since Sunday and honestly I am 90% satisfied, I know that some finishes would have been better, but wow! it was a really long process and I wanted to share it hehe, without further ado I will share the process with you.

Hola hivers, espero que estén teniendo una buena semana, hoy estoy muy emocionada de compartir esta ilustración, ha sido realmente agotador hacer esta, me concentré mucho en los detalles que conlleva, he estado trabajando en ella desde el domingo y sinceramente estoy satisfecha en un 90%, sé que algunos acabados hubieran sido mejores, pero ¡vaya! ha sido un proceso realmente largo y quería compartirlo jeje, sin más preámbulos les comparto el proceso.

This is the second time I wanted to do something based on Japanese culture, the first time I did an illustration inspired by the Kitsune mask, this time my inspiration was the Oni mask, at the same time I wanted to do an illustration with a tattooed woman so I took the opportunity to combine this. I started with my sketch and its base colors and then continued with the painting and finishing of the skin and face.
Esta es la segunda vez que quería hacer algo basado en la cultura japonesa, la primera vez hice una ilustración inspirada en la máscara Kitsune, esta vez mi inspiración fue la máscara Oni, al mismo tiempo quería hacer una ilustración con una mujer tatuada así que aproveché para combinar esto. Empecé con mi boceto y sus colores base y luego continué con la pintura y el acabado de la piel y la cara.

After I had this I continued with what took me much more time, I would say a day and a half of work, this was the realization of both tattooed sleeves, it was really hard work, I wanted the details of this to look very good and I really loved to make each stroke of these tattoos, I would say that it has better finish to make them yourself than just paste the image.
Después de tener esto continué con lo que me llevó mucho más tiempo, diría que un día y medio de trabajo, esto fue la realización de las dos mangas tatuadas, fue un trabajo realmente duro, quería que los detalles de esto se vieran muy bien y realmente me encantó hacer cada trazo de estos tatuajes, diría que tiene mejor acabado hacerlos uno mismo que simplemente pegar la imagen.

I had already placed most of the shading on the mask before starting with the tattoos, but when I finished the tattoos I continued with their elaboration and that of the clothing, this suffered several color changes, because if I placed it in black tone the tattoos lost prominence, so I was changing the color tone until I found something that I liked and looked good both for the skin tone and not to dull the sleeves.
Ya había colocado la mayor parte del sombreado en la máscara antes de comenzar con los tatuajes, pero cuando terminé estos últimos continué con su elaboración y la de la ropa, esta sufrió varios cambios de color, ya que si la colocaba en tono negro los tatuajes perdían protagonismo, así que fui cambiando el tono de color hasta encontrar algo que me gustara y quedara bien tanto por el tono de la piel como para no opacar las mangas.

I spent so much time making certain parts of the illustration that I forgot my main idea for the background, so I changed it at the last moment, where I changed the Japanese clouds for a dragon, and some silhouettes of trees with Japanese cherry leaves scattered on the canvas, all this I put blur to make the girl stand out. This is the final result, I hope you like it.
Pasé tanto tiempo haciendo ciertas partes de la ilustración que olvidé mi idea principal para el fondo, así que lo cambié en el último momento, donde cambié las nubes japonesas por un dragón, y unas siluetas de árboles con hojas de cerezo japonés esparcidas por el lienzo, todo esto lo coloqué desenfocado para hacer resaltar a la chica. Este es el resultado final, espero que les guste.
