In the middle of last May I officially celebrated one year on this platform, which has been a real trip, which I value very much and I hope to go for many more years, because I still consider that I have a lot of art to share, for those days of May I changed the cover of my profile and postponed the creative process of it just for wanting to show something else, and I realized that I really wanted to add something more to it, something to thank all the support I have received and to thank everyone who takes the time to appreciate, opinion or just take a look at what I do, so I decided to add a new banner for the closing of each post from now on, one that represents my content and ended up evoking some nostalgia, because I resorted almost unconsciously to the classic street art style, as this is an important line of development for me in the creative world and which I will always be hooked in one way or another, without more to say here is the development of both pieces.
A mediados del mes de mayo pasado cumplí un año oficialmente en esta plataforma, la cual ha sido un verdadero trip, el cual valoro muchísimo y espero ir a por muchos años más, pues aún considero que tengo mucho arte por compartir, para esos días de mayo cambie la portada de mi perfil y pospuse el proceso creativo de la misma simplemente por querer mostrar otra cosa, y me di cuenta de que realmente quería agregar algo más a ello, algo que agradezca todo el apoyo que he recibido y que agradezca a todo el que se toma el tiempo para apreciar, opinar o tan solo darle un vistazo a lo que hago, así que decidí agregar un nuevo banner para el cierre de cada post a partir de ahora, uno que represente mi contenido y que terminó evocando algo de nostalgia, pues recurrí de manera casi inconsciente al clásico estilo street art, pues este marco una línea importante de desarrollo para mí en el mundo creativo y del cual siempre estaré enganchado de una manera u otra, sin más que decir acá está el desarrollo de ambas piezas.
Scratching my WALL 🕶️ Rayando mi PARED
For me it was inevitable to take the concept of cover and interpret it as a wall, so I decided to treat it as such, a wall of 2800 x 400px to compose in it a piece of graffiti typography without further ado, letting the wall tell me what it wants me to do with each stroke, as is customary in this style the letters are the AKA or pseudonym of the author creatively elaborated in the way it seems best, although I should note that within the graffiti typography if certain rules or canons are handled so that it can qualify as such would be very cool to talk about this in detail in another post.
Para mí fue inevitable tomar el concepto de portada e interpretarlo como una pared, así que decidí tratarla como tal, una pared de 2800 x 400px para componer en ella una pieza de tipografía graffiti sin más, dejando que la pared me diga lo que quiere que haga con cada trazo, cómo se acostumbra en este estilo las letras son el AKA o seudónimo del autor elaborado creativamente de la forma que mejor le parece, aunque debo acotar que dentro de la tipmhgrafía graffiti si se manejan ciertas reglas o cánones para que pueda calificar como tal sería muy cool hablar de esto a detalle en otro post.

Looking through the chaos of my folders, I found an unfinished drawing that is supposed to be my main OC, an exaggerated and demonic version of me without more, and by the greeting pose he wore I thought it was perfect for this banner so I took the character and placed it in a corner of the banner, which has a dimension of 1400 x 700 px.
Revisando entre el caos de mis carpetas, encontré un dibujo sin acabar que se supone, es mi OC principal, una versión exagerada y demoníaca de mí sin más, y por la pose de saludo que llevaba me pareció que era perfecto para este banner así que tome el personaje y lo ubique en una esquina del banner, que tiene una dimensión de 1400 x 700 px.

The illustration of the character had already achieved a LineArt and a background made with airbrush (almost premunition) with this on the table I began to sketch the letters that say "Thanks for Reading" which I admit was the most complicated, because it had been centuries since I designed graffiti as such so it took me some time, but I do not complain at all.
La ilustración del personaje ya tenía logrado un LineArt y un fondo hecho con aerógrafo (casi premunición) con esto en la mesa empecé a bosquejar las letras que dicen "Thanks for Reading" que admito fue lo más complicado, pues hacía siglos que no diseñaba graffiti como tal así que me tomo algo de tiempo, pero no me quejo en absoluto.
Backfill 🕶️ Relleno
As this time I wanted the typography to be a little more canonical within the style, I went for concepts such as proposing a limited palette, in this case yellow, orange, red and white for the fill being the first three a unitary range, and with which I would allow me to play and propose abstraction, this time using very little airbrush blurring, under that idea I looked for a brush in the materials search engine of Clip Studio Paint and found a variant of the pen that in an interesting way managed to emulate the valorized in the stroke that can be achieved with the spray technique.
Como esta vez quise que la tipografía fuera un poco más canónica dentro del estilo, me fui por conceptos como el de proponer una paleta limitada, en este caso amarillo, naranja, rojo y blanco para el relleno siendo los primeros tres una gama unitaria, y con la que me permitiría jugar y proponer abstracción, está vez usando muy poco el difuminado del aerógrafo, bajo esa idea busque un pincel en el buscador de materiales del Clip Studio Paint y encontré una variante de la pluma que de una forma interesante lograba emular el valorizado en el trazo que se puede lograr con la técnica del espray.

To give body to the whole piece to make it more gestural was possible with the use of whites as light, but I avoided using blurred again, giving it a brightness almost of plastic transparency along with a very common effect in graffiti which is to apply a well loaded surplus between the letters and the -wall- with the intention of giving the feeling that the letters float in front of the background, a "Tag" or signature at the bottom to continue with the triangular composition that threw the design, to finish with another classic that we like to call "Powerline" which is nothing more than a stroke usually of a complementary color to the fill in this case blue, which wraps around the outside of the piece as is done with the designs for stickers.

Finishing building the character was like paying a debt to myself, never better said, I had already raised a fairly intricate lineart, so I simplified a little more the filling without abandoning the appreciation to the details, as an accent, since I had not applied much blurring with the airbrush so far I decided to apply it in the eyes, as it stood out among so many intertwined solid strokes that in the skin ended up generating an effect of veins that fit quite well to the character.
Terminar de construir el personaje fue como pagar una deuda conmigo mismo, nunca mejor dicho, ya había planteado un lineart bastante intrincado, así que simplifique un poco más el relleno sin abandonar la apreciación a los detalles, a manera de acento, ya que no había aplicado mucho difuminado con el aerógrafo hasta el momento decidí aplicarlo en los ojos, pues así destacaba entre tanto trazo sólido entrelazado que en la piel terminó generando un efecto de venas que se adaptan bastante bien al personaje.
