Walked up to the park again today with Mariah, both of my daughters AND my granddaughter for a little playground fun!
Lately, I've been experimenting with drawing on found objects. A day or two ago, I left a monster drawn on a bark chip sitting on one of the slides. Today, it was gone!
Naturally, I brought a pen with me this time, too, and I started drawing new monsters... I had almost finished this one...
...when a little kid came up and sat down by me to watch me draw. After I finished the first creature, he helped me find a new piece of bark to draw the next one on... And he took it! AND he took my NEXT one, as well!!! (Before I had a chance to document them!!! Dang...)
It's kind of neat when someone likes your art, even if the someone in question is only three or four years old!
After the kid left, I drew a couple more...
[My wife made me keep this one...]
...and...
I think, next time, I'll take my paint pens up with me instead of just a liner pen!
I drew a bunch more stuff today, but none of the rest is bark chip themed, so I'll save it for another post!!!
Later!!!
