Sunday. Yesterday was a "family" day. Went about with the kids doing "holiday-esque" things, like Xmas tree shopping, feeding reindeer, seeing Santa Claus (who was hidden behind a plastic shield---probably smart; he's no spring chicken!), eating dinner at a restaurant, and then watching an Xmas parade in the rain. HOLIDAY FUN! So, you know, it was exhausting, but there might be a memory of two that'll come out of it, (especially since most of us took phone-photos... DOCUMENTATION IS ESSENTIAL!)

It's this thing where I spend a long time making a particular piece of art out of physical collage bits and drawings and a page from a phone book and all that shit, then I photograph that image and send it to a computer program that DESTROYS all the work I've done, but somehow gives me a DIFFERENT piece that is totally cool and full of all the NOISE that my hand made garbage provided the computer program as fodder... Wicked. Then, cuz I yam what I yam, I added a stupid little cartoon doodle. (My headspace isn't always comfortable with letting the computer have the last word...) So, BAM!

Great! And since she isn't exactly verbal yet (all she says is, "They're coming..." over and over again; it's so cute!), we can't ask her what she's been dreaming about.
