"Rock Art Monster"
[Felt pen on reclaimed cardboard with digital embellishments and color.] Found in a strange cave in the basement of a casino (name withheld by request of the owner) in Las Vegas. The original artist has not yet been identified. (Possibly drawn by a plant-based lifeform...)

"Red Time"
[Crayon and felt pen (I think) on reclaimed cardboard with digital embellishments, color, and moshing.] Seen floating in the water off the southern Washington coast. It's not a good thing...
xxxxxxxxxxxxx
"Bird Mask"
[Crayon and felt pen on reclaimed cardboard with minor digital color tweaking!] Clearly a shamanistic mask used for some occult purposes (or for a children's puppet show...)
P.S. - Let's go ahead and do this piece as a freebie! (Why not?) 23 editions, zero tezos each! Some folks might like it!
The freebies have been claimed. (All hail the SECONDARY MARKET!)

"Shape Language"
[Colored pencil on cardstock with minor digital color tweaking.] This work is a texture / color experiment. I've been anxious lately, and this type of work helps me unwind...

"Mummy Meets Ladybug"
[Colored pencil and mechanical pencil on paper with digital embellishments and color.] When an unnatural creature appears in the yard, it takes a certain ability to accept the WEIRD to be able to handle it... Unfortunately, the only creature who was NOT freaked out when Mr. Mummy appeared was the local drunk, who in this case happened to be a ladybug. They got along pretty well (after some initial distress...)
P.S. - This is another piece of RECESSION RESISTANCE ART! Grab your edition for SUPER CHEAP, and tell your friends that they TOO can afford to be an art collector now, thanks to ONLINE THRILLS!

"Lucky Strike (a)"
[Photograph of garbage spotted (by my wife) at a local recycling center with digital embellishments and moshing.] I'm definitely interested in found imagery - when something seems to have unintended aesthetic qualities - and this piece was just such an encounter. Mariah spotted this Lucky Strike packet on the ground while we were dropping some recycling at a local center, and because of the connection between this brand and the pop artist, Ray Johnson, she had me snap the photo. I then ran it through some filters and found this color combination to be rather pleasing!

Today is suddenly Thursday, but time only has a slight meaning to me anymore. I am forging a new relationship with time/space/existence that requires very little standard “clock watching.” I’m working on perfecting my recognition of bodily signs for things like “hunger” and “tiredness.” It’s probably hippie bullshit, but there is a theory that your body will tell you what it needs if you can learn to interpret the signs. (Theory... Using scientific terminology for pseudo-science is half the fun of being a crackpot!)
I’m also watching out for THINGS that I enjoy: foods, songs, experiences... The dead pass on, but life is for the living! So...what do you want to eat? [That’s from an old Woody Allen film, if it sounded familiar...]
One thing that I still enjoy (and do constantly, every day, whenever I have a medium within reach) is making arts... It might not look like I’m a five decade veteran at this point because my aesthetic is very naive/outsider/primitivist/bad, but the choices that I’ve made and the inspirations that I’ve drawn from have led me to this choice... Plus, it amuses me to do stuff that looks funny! Sometimes the best drawings are the WORST drawings! (That’s my philosophy!)
Let’s get back to the artz...

"Nothing" by RFY (HF) & FEH (TT)
[Felt pen and ballpoint pen on notebook page with digital embellishments and color.] Here's another collaboration between old wizard grandpa and toddler terror, Felicity. She produced the meaningful shapes this time, and I provided mostly color (and some words, which are mostly for color.) Fun! ---Richard F. Yates (Holy Fool) & Felicity Echo Hanson (Toddler Terror)

“Emotional Concerns”
[Felt pen on reclaimed cardboard with digital embellishments and color.] Emotions don't "EXIST" in the physical world (as measurable, quantifiable phenomena,) and yet their subjective existence is not in doubt. SOFT SCIENCE or ART???
23 editions. ZERO tezos each! Good luck!

“Too Much, Butch”
[Digital drawing created in MS Paint on my old laptop.] Butch likes to push... Sometimes, though, he pushes to hard, and ya have to say, "Too much, Butch!" to chill his ass out. He's not evil; he just gets excited...

"Moonlight Bay (Hazy)"
[Felt pen and ballpoint pen on blue sticky note with digital embellishments, color, and moshing.] I should have stopped after that second glass...and I certainly shouldn't have taken that pill... I mean everything LOOKED cool, but I forgot how language worked and I ended up flooding the hotel bathroom...
P.S. - Not a true story. (It was a restaurant bathroom, not a hotel...)

Is that enough for now? I kind of have the urge to make a PDF ZINE, like some of the fancy pieces I’ve seen coming out on TEZOS platforms lately (like SLOTH and BAD BAD COD...) I used to make zines all the time, but the were usually on PAPER. Can I REMEDIATE my conceptual framework from PHYSICAL ZINES to DIGITAL without losing to much of the OOMPH!? I bet’cha I can...
