No obstante la lamentable noticia de que el creador del personaje American Mcgee se retiró de la industria de los videojuegos como desarrollador por culpa de EA en haber rechazado la gran propuesta de crear una precuela sobre Alice, lugar donde nos iba a mostrar los sucesos en donde pasó ella en un lugar psiquiátrico. En Madness Return nos muestran ese pequeño fragmento, pero en la precuela nos lo iban a mostrar en su total profundidad por lo que si, Alice llegó a su fin con Madness Return.
