Helo Dear Hivers, Hello Aliens! 👽
Today I want to share with you my new musical work, this is a work in the genre of Trap and Cinematic Drama. I made this instrumental from memory, as it often happens, you go somewhere or from somewhere and some kind of musical idea begins to emerge in your head, at such moments I always think about how not to forget this melody before I I get home or to the studio, so I have to scroll through it in my head so as not to forget, exactly the same thing happened with this track, I was walking down the street and I came up with the idea to make a pumping beat, so that 808 bass would beat under a smeared bass synth and lyrical violins and the melancholic accompaniment of a soulless piano. It turned out like this!

About Track:
In general, tracks with live instruments have always been something special for me, I would not consider myself a part of those who regularly make beats, but I try to follow this niche, and I see how the guys successfully realize their musical creativity, so I see the demand for arrangements, but what can I hide, and I myself received orders for music several times, sometimes I had to dig very deep into this path, but I prefer to make the music that comes from my head, which reflects my thoughts or state of mind, therefore I write music in different genres ranging from Cinematic Orchestral music to poisonous Hardstyle or Rave music. It's great when you have the opportunity to combine the incongruous, to mix what cannot be mixed or is not necessary. If we talk about the complexity of writing such music, then one thing can be emphasized - it all depends on the disclosure of the idea, on the presentation of your idea, unfortunately the Trap genre itself does not imply the disclosure of the melody, and for the most part this is something other than a polished sound, it is rich but it doesn’t have a melody or that atomsphere, so I decided to emphasize in my composition the emphasis on melody and mood, in fact, from the Trap there is only Beat and that’s it, as I constantly said before, I try to experiment and there are no limits when I immerse myself in the process of making music.
Processing EQ and FX 〽️
So that the sound would not be too compressed, I made a buildup of the beat and bass, added a boost to it and made a small sidechain effect to emphasize some percussion and other elements. I use the saturator at almost any opportunity where it is appropriate, here it is present on the sawtooth bass and backing vocals that became the background for the track. The violins and pianos were also treated with reverb, for greater saturation of the track. When it comes to processing effects, this is where the most interesting thing begins, as for me, 50 percent of the guarantee of good sounding is occupied by the post-processing of the track, the main thing in this matter is the moderate use of these effects, since I often had cases when I piled up a lot of processing and then the desire to fix everything is already disappearing, so I lose 25 percent of my works, which forever remain unfinished, I know that many artists have the same problem, it’s impossible to fight it, it has always been and will always be, the only thing left to do is to accustom yourself to perseverance when working on music, finishing your tracks while there is inspiration, as they say - hot is tastier than cold and as long as this spark is in you - use it to realize your ideas (IMHO).
HUGS! 🙂
