Here is a ballpoint pen doodle for this #scifisaturday
A portal hovers in the air waiting for a brave traveler to pass through.
No one quite knows where this portal goes or where it came from. But it has been here forever according to carbon dating.
Humans on earth discovered it floating in the coldest area of Antarctica where no one has dared to explore. But not that it has been discovered many countries are visiting the portal.
China decided to test the portal by throwing dissidents through. America heled a selective service to choose who to throw through the portal. France is still deciding how to develop a lottery on who gets to "volunteer" for testing the portal.
A new notch gets recorded on the face whenever a new person goes through. One scientist decided to count all the notches and it turns out billions of humans have gone through this thing throughout time.
Strange morphing blocks define the outline of the portal and they are continually shifting and changing. Perhaps their various combinations define the endpoint of where the portal takes you.
Finally one smart "volunteer" from France decided to just put his hand through and wait. Instantly his arm was severed but he still felt like he could use it just fine.
Now other dissidents and draftees are trying other parts of their body to do the initial portal. The American put his head in and now there is a headless body walking around on this side. The Chinese put half his whole body in. Now scientists are trying to record the effects of the body side left on this side.
After compiling all the data in an elaborate process it turns out the portal leads to an abandoned K-mart in Indiana. The American Volunteer was able to scrawl the logo out with his headless body. Now the next test is to attempt to reconnect these three volunteers with the other half of their bodies. Now that the mystery has been unveiled Antarctica will again remain uninhabited.
That's all for now, thanks for looking :-)
