EXPERIENCE
Hello Alien Art community, today I bring a somewhat different session, at least for me. WORKING ON AN IMAGE IN WHITE has been a bit unusual as I'm used to creating dark arts and now seeing more details that stand out in the white light. Moving on to designing the image, it consists of a first image of a woman in black and white and I proceeded to carefully remove its background, getting rid of extra hairs, and proceed to adjust and place the layer masks. Let's go into the process.
Hola comunidad de Alien Art, hoy traigo una sesión un poco diferente, al menos para mí. TRABAJAR EN UNA IMAGEN EN BLANCO ha sido un poco inusual ya que estoy acostumbrado a crear obras oscuras y ahora ver más detalles que resaltan en la luz blanca. Pasando a diseñar la imagen, consiste en una primera imagen de una mujer en blanco y negro y procedí a eliminar cuidadosamente el fondo, quitando pelos extras y procediendo a ajustar y colocar las máscaras de capa. Vamos al proceso.
DESIGN
When using a different background, I started by placing the golden skull in perspective with the model and began to apply a texture to eliminate part of her face, thus achieving a suitable and visually appealing skin fusion with a steampunk style, allowing me to play with the design as a whole.
Al utilizar un fondo diferente, comencé por ubicar el cráneo dorado en la perspectiva de la modelo y comencé a aplicar una textura para eliminar parte de su rostro, logrando así una fusión de pieles adecuada y visualmente atractiva con un estilo steampunk, lo que me permitió jugar con el diseño en su totalidad.
The image of the dragon helped locate a large part of its aesthetics by placing the fangs and deforming them with a black and white adjustment to merge them with the mouth. The other part of the jaw would undergo a fusion design that would radically change the focus of the experience. Likewise, it was given the title "EXPERIENCE," a mix of new techniques used in white.
La imagen del dragón ayudó a ubicar gran parte de su estética al colocar los colmillos y deformarlos con un ajuste de blanco y negro para fusionarlos con la boca. La otra parte de la mandíbula pasaría a ser un diseño de fusión que cambiaría radicalmente el enfoque de la experiencia. Asimismo, se le adjudicó el título "EXPERIENCE," una mezcla de nuevas técnicas utilizadas en blanco.
I took the part of the jaw, and by chance, it fit right under her jaw once the upper part with detail was removed. I proceeded to erase the rest and position the fangs better. For the upper part, I used a different brush since the circular mode of the brush didn't achieve the required effect and looked visually blurred. I also made sure to use a shadow on the model as if it were a mask in pure creation and not bound to the skin.
Tomé la parte de la mandíbula y por casualidad quedaba justo debajo de su mandíbula una vez eliminada la parte superior con detalle. Procedí a borrar el resto y posicionar mejor los colmillos. Para la parte superior, utilicé un pincel diferente ya que el modo circular del pincel no lograba el efecto requerido y se veía visualmente difuminado. También me aseguré de usar una sombra en la modelo como si fuera una máscara en pura creación y no estuviera ligada a la piel.
Once finished, I used motion blur and blur effects in many areas, and for adding the title, I used a fine typography and rasterized it with a slight blur at the edges to create a sense of depth with the white background. Una vez finalizado, utilicé efectos de movimiento y desenfoque en muchas zonas, y para agregar el título, utilicé una tipografía fina y la rastericé con un ligero desenfoque en los bordes para crear una sensación de profundidad con el fondo blanco.
