Introducing this design called "THE BAG GIRL," it comes with a chilling or paranormal narrative inspired by stories like Junji Ito's. The concept is of a woman who returns home in the rain, and as she settles and relaxes at home, her head is cut off while watching TV, carrying her head with her. The paranormal aspect is that she is still alive and keeps her head in a bag.
Les presento este diseño llamado "THE BAG GIRL", que lleva consigo un relato aterrador o paranormal inspirado en historias como las de Junji Ito. La idea es una mujer que regresa a casa bajo la lluvia, y al acomodarse y relajarse en su hogar, le cortan la cabeza mientras miraba la TV, cargando su cabeza consigo. Lo paranormal es que ella aún está viva y resguarda su cabeza en una bolsa.

Many of us feel lost, aimless, or to sum it up, dead in life. We reach a point where we face a crossroads and wonder when something beautiful will cross our lives. Something that makes us rethink about the beauty of living, that inspires us to long to feel alive again. I am working on capturing this idea through the design of the works.
Muchos de nosotros nos sentimos perdidos, sin rumbo, o para resumirlo, muertos en vida. Llegamos a un punto en el que nos enfrentamos a una encrucijada y nos preguntamos cuándo se cruzará algo hermoso en nuestras vidas. Algo que nos haga replantearnos sobre la belleza de vivir, lo que nos inspira a anhelar sentirnos vivos nuevamente. Estoy trabajando en plasmar esta idea a través del diseño de las obras.

I was in charge of creating the artwork for this card, depicting a deity that brings a slow death, carrying the heads of those who have committed the cruelest acts in the world of life. I invite you to observe the process and how the final concept was shaped.

A beautiful woman, radiant as the gods, consumed by greed, decides to make a pact with a demon to obtain riches in exchange for her soul when she dies. But every deal has its conditions, and the agreed cost turns out to be the woman's beauty. With each wish the young woman makes, her beautiful face wastes away until it disappears completely, and she begins to wither in life, while the demon takes possession of her body and appearance to return to earth. Based on this concept, I invite you to watch the process.
Una mujer hermosa, radiante como los dioses, consumida por la avaricia, decide realizar un pacto con un demonio para obtener riquezas a cambio de su alma al morir. Pero todo trato tiene sus condiciones, y el costo acordado resulta ser la hermosura de la mujer. Con cada deseo que la joven solicita, su bello rostro se va consumiendo hasta desaparecer por completo, y comienza a marchitarse en vida, mientras el demonio toma posesión de su cuerpo y apariencia para regresar a la tierra.
