today I present one of the most laborious works: the Hippocampus, a majestic creature in its aquatic world. This will be the first release of season 2 of "Musical Bestiary." Here I share my ideas and the development of the design created. It's a pleasure to have you here. Greetings!

hoy presento una de las obras más laboriosas: el Hipocampo, una criatura majestuosa en su mundo acuático. Este será el primer lanzamiento de la temporada 2 de "Musical Bestiary". Aquí les dejo mis ideas y el desarrollo del diseño realizado. Es un placer tenerlos aquí. ¡Saludos!
DESING // DISEÑO
Before starting, the design was inspired by the creation of the hippocampus model of Poseidon in the famous game "God of War 3." To achieve this, in the main color mix I was aiming for, I came up with the idea of creating crab-like legs. However, not being satisfied with the development of its legs, I proceeded to remove them but did not discard the idea of extending its body further.
Antes de comenzar, el diseño fue inspirado en la creación del modelo del Hipocampo de Poseidón en el famoso juego "God of War 3". Para lograrlo, en la mezcla principal de colores que buscaba, ideé la creación de las patas de cangrejo. Sin embargo, al no estar satisfecho con el desarrollo de las patas, decidí eliminarlas, pero no descarté la idea de que el cuerpo debía extenderse aún más.
In the combination of colors that I was varying in each style I was creating, I found a perfect texture that evoked the title "death." I textured skulls in relation to the marine environment, accompanied by a transparent paper to achieve a blurred water effect.
En la combinación de colores que iba variando en cada estilo que estaba creando, encontré una textura perfecta que sugiere el título de "muerte". Realicé el texturizado de cráneos en relación con el entorno marino, y lo acompañé con un papel transparente para lograr un efecto de agua difuminada.
Once the color combination was completed, we can notice the tonality of the CD's texture, which accentuates the skulls with a perfect aquatic chrome for the Hippocampus. The base color of the Hippocampus also shouldn't draw too much attention since in this design, I aimed to disperse the focus across multiple points of view, which was a bit challenging. Nevertheless, I had to try to grab attention with the tentacles that would replace the crab legs.
Una vez finalizada la combinación de colores, podemos notar la tonalidad de la textura del CD, que resalta los cráneos con un cromo acuático perfecto para el Hipocampo. El color base del Hipocampo tampoco debía llamar demasiado la atención, ya que en este diseño intentaría dispersar el enfoque en varios puntos de vista, algo un poco complicado. Sin embargo, debía intentar captar la atención en los tentáculos que reemplazarían las patas de cangrejo.
For this part, the texture of the paper simulating water needed to be darkened if I wanted to place its title elegantly, along with a glow that would stand out in the middle of the CD to accompany the design without being overwhelming to the eye.
Para esta parte, la textura del papel que simulaba el agua debía oscurecerse si quería colocar su título de forma elegante, junto con un resplandor que resaltara en medio del CD para complementar el diseño y no resultara abrumador a la vista.
Finally, I added details that would match the desired format, such as its coral pink profile and the icons of the stickers that I changed in color to complement this Hippocampus and its destruction towards human sailors.
Por último, añadí detalles que se coordinaran con el formato deseado, como su perfil en rosa coral y los iconos de los stickers que cambié de colores para acompañar a este Hipocampo y su destrucción hacia los humanos navegantes.
