Five Ghouls (1911–24)

The above is a gif animation that I made for the contest Cosmic Creations #5, this time the theme given is Inspired by Art History and after looking through the illustration works on the public domain web I found an illustration work that reminds me of my childhood days of drawing scary things like monsters and ghosts on the hell punishment comics bought at my school canteen.

Herbert Crowley's work on the five ghouls caught my attention, his works were epic and inspired me, symbolic and naive bringing back memories of childhood fantasies.

Worked with Affinity Photo to edit the background and then go to Paint.NET to give a distortion effect and processed again for GIF with Photoscape.
