I have been playing around with various AI programs - much of it unpublished other than a few things from Wombo and some regular Deep Dream stuff in the past. I have not been on Deep Dream for a while, but a few days ago I wanted to enhance a Wombo creation when I realized they updated the site and added a new feature: TEXT 2 DREAM (you need to be logged in to Deep Dream to read their blog about it).
So I thought I give it a try. I was not that unfamiliar with this, since I done so on Night Cafe before. I quickly found, after some tries and errors, what works. Aside from text there are some moderations you can use, and even add more of them yourself. Using a image as a promt along with your text is possible, and sometimes, it works out pretty good, such as with this one:
Invoking my favorite artists in the prompts I am pleased with the result - definitely Giger was very prominent. It followed to some extend the general composition of my image input, a acrylic painting of mine in decalcomania style.

In the above AI creation, it basically influenced some coloring and the general layout, but the text promt was strong, as intended.
I was pleased with the result - it is always a surprise how things turn out - prior to this, starting 2 days ago, I had also some successful images which I may post soon as well. But this one tops them, so far. I have always been into the surreal and fantasy world in my analog painting, so those influences dominate also my digital output. I did create a couple of 'pretty' lady pics also, but more about that at some other time.
I hope you enjoy this piece, and it certainly encouraged me to use more of my analog art as a prompt to get results that have a greater input beyond just composing word prompts and pushing a button. While it was not necessary to do much post-processing on this piece, I had to do on others, since asometimes what comes out does not always fit well into the composition.
