I felt like sharing this drawing/ collage of Hypersensitivosaurus, that I made yesterday. It ended up looking like a mix between a gremlin and E.T. I like it!
The arms and clawy hands were drawn on a different piece of paper, cut out with scissors and then added as a different layer.
When I had colored the book ( based on a book that I actually own and started re-reading myself, days ago ), I realized that Hypersensitivosaurus is usually red skinned. I love contrast though ( and especially red vs. green ), so I decided to make (y)our favorite lizard green instead of red.
Would he still have looked like a Gremlin or E.T. had he been red? I doubt it.
In case you're wondering about the title of the book that H.S. is reading, it's called:
"Hypersensitivity as a super power".
this one is for you ;<) and of course for all other fellow (extra)sensitive people out there
And here's the bit of text that I wrote around this. In fact, I wrote the text first, before I drew this.
Hypersensitivosaurus was exhausted. Once again, he had forgotten to give his mind some rest. This happened to him over and over again, leading to what felt like chronic fatigue. He scanned through a book on Hypersensitivity, titled 'Hypersensitivity as a Super Power'. Even the scanning was a side-effect of his burnt out brain. He couldn't find the peace of mind to actually 'read'. Slowing down, even when he was exhausted, was extremely challenging for his hyperactive lizard brain. He should really try to breathe deeper and I'm not talking about smoking. After all, it wasn't volcano season and, besides, his lungs were as sensitive as the rest of his hyperactive body.
I'm gonna keep this a short post, for a change, even though I've loads more to tell and share. This hypersensitive non lizard is pretty tired and needs to save some energy to survive this Winter.
TO BE CONVINUED...
Oh and in case you wondered: I decided to post this in 'Alien Art Hive' as I consider my creations art and my dino ended up looking like an alien haha!
