So I have a show coming up at Mchenry County College in Crystal Lake Illinois.
They made me over 100 postcards to mail out.
At first I was not sure who to mail them to, but I acquired an edition of Chicago Gallery news and mailed postcards to all the abstract galleries in Chicago.
I also mailed a postcard to every person who has bought one of my paintings from Saatchi.
I added a bunch of white to this painting, covering up everything I thought would be better left out. Covering up information reveals peaks and valleys of what might better be focused on.
I do not have any pets, but if I did, I would probably want to have a cat.
This painting turned out to look like a cat body, so I added a cat head.
It is a strange painting, but this is my pet cat.
The collaborations with have been progressing and we have been struggling to unify them all. this is a picture of one of them, this one being the one of the three that looks most like a true combination of both our styles.
We are filming our own artist interviews in my studio and dave stopped by. He started this painting by using what he called Neapolitan...
After he left I added some lines.
this painting sold recently and I had to ship it to Lithuania. It is called Roll the Dice, but used to be called Dab, because it looks like a figure doing a Dab dance move.
This painter followed me. I am a big fan of his work.
Thats all for now!
cheers,
