I'm a young female artist who loves to paint and draw.
I take this as my intro post, and thank 
I'm on a mission to find my own unique style and have finally mustered up the courage to enter a picture to the contest. It's a big step for me, but I'm excited to showcase my skills and hopefully inspire others to pursue their artistic dreams too.
I believe that being an artist is all about taking risks and learning from our mistakes.
So, I'm looking forward to the journey ahead and seeing where my creativity will take me.
My inspiration for the contest picture was the "Black Dragon," which I had been wanting to draw for a long time. I decided to use watercolor as my medium and created two drafts before finalizing my entry.
In the first draft, I drew the dragon in a full-body pose, but it didn't turn out as I had hoped.
So, for the second draft, I decided to try something different and drew the dragon in a profile-like painting. This allowed me to showcase the details and features of the dragon's face, which I had always found fascinating. I was pleased with the result and felt that it captured the essence of what I had envisioned.
